No body speaks for me. All Mexican illegals are welcomed. You will get amnesty eventually.Sorry robin, the hate will continue. It is past on from generation to generation by mostly white Americans. You do not have accept it but you are going to have to live with it. If you do not, you may wind up in prison.

If you are an immigrant WELCOME! We are a nation of immigrants. If you are an illegal alien, you broke into our county and you are not welcome here. An illegal alien is not an immigrant. An immigrant came to this country legally. Don't confuse the two. They are very different.

If you came here legally then of course you have the right to be here. However English is the official language of the U.S and so therefore everyone should speak english.

If a person legally imagrate to the country they are welcome as far as I'm concerned. I also believe that If you want to feel like you belong in a country it's important to learn the language. I know it is hard but it is important.

As an immigrant...A LEGAL IMMIGRANT I must say that there are times its hard being here because there are some people who lack understanding of what it is like to migrate from what you've known all your life to here.
However I must say if you want to move to an ENGLISH speaking country you should expect the laws to be in english and all immigrants should learn to speak english and not expect everything to be translated to their native languages and that has nothing to do with "trying to beat the immigrant" out of us.

There's nothing wrong with inmigrating to a different country from the one you were born as long as you do it legally since most inmigrants contribute to the well being of their adopted country.To better your prospects for a succesful life it is necessary that you learn the language and try to assimilate into society while at the same time retaining your cultural values.It makes life a little bit easier and more interesting when people of different cultures can communicate in one language.

This is actually easy to figure out.

Whatever country you were born in, that's your home. You belong there, and you have every right to call it home.

If you think you want to leave and go somewhere else, you have a moral obligation to approach the immigration process and ask permission, and you do this by applying for a visa of one kind or another.

When you receive an approved visa, you have every right to come in and live with us. It was granted by the people and by our representitives, and there's no need to feel guilty.

At the moment, at least 80% of the citizens of the US want illegal immigrants to return to their country and come back properly through the embassies. If you are illegal, there's no reason for you to feel comfortable here because you've broken our law and you're stealing our resources.

The people of the US are saying that you are not welcome in our home, and it is OUR home, not yours.

I think people should come legally, make a concerted effort to learn the language of THIS country at least to the degree where you can be understood reasonably well. I don't care what they speak in the home or to each other, but they should know English too(and they should encourage their kids to learn). No one should feel they are entitled to amnesty when so many bust their a** to come legally and spend thousands doing so. I feel people should feel loyal to THIS country. This is the land people fled to to get a better life, but they don't care about it, only its benefits and what it can do for them. I'm not trying to beat anything out of anyone, I'm just tired of people who think they are entitled to walk all over me. Also we are not saying no one can come in anymore, we are just saying that you need to get in line like everyone else and stop asking to be treated special.
I also feel no compulsion to nose in on your conversations. I know Spanish and English, as well as other languages, and believe me- you're not talking about anything important or hiding anything. I just don't feel the compulsion to speak Spanish(or any other language) for people who have no desire to learn the language of the country they CHOSE to go to.

I wish you all people get educated in this subject before speak, even my self until now I'm not very well educated and understand you systems and your laws.
I'm here not because I decided to stay here, I came here legally I apply for a visa and come here very legal many times, I drove cars, I had bank accounts, I had friends, I enjoy visiting this beautiful country who has the best education, so I decide to see options to stay here studing, such education I will never get in my country, So I APPLY ( every one can read this??? ) APPLY for this for that. My brother did the same he want to stay and continuing or starting all over his career as a doctor. They didnt aprove his student visa.
Me? I meet some one and fall in love, I thougth that been a tourist who fall in love with someone who wants to make a family and children and career can stay here. We got married

SO I DID, I learnt their language, stealing??? no going to the library paying fees, I learnt to""""" APPLY"""" for things ( such we dont do in our countries ) so I got drives liscense
I learnt their culture " BE ON TIME" , don't be LauD!!!! neighbors can call the police! don't party!!! too much, I learnt their culture, their procedures, "their language" WHO teach me? NO one, which money??? MINE money from MY pocket.
and there is always something that is not complete to apply for my residence, lawyers didn;t want to help and husband either.
So Now am i been called illegal????? what did I do wrong???? I have done everything I should, now I have to back to my country with $0 in my pocket cause , way of life is too expensive if you don't have a job, and a supportive husband who will apply for your papers, Thanks usa for nothing

If you're a legal immigrant i have absolutely no problem with that. But if you're an illegal immigrant that is a serious problem.

I don't mind immigrants. But it's mostly the illegal immigrants that cause problems. They don't realize that they are taking jobs legal Americans need. As for the language I hate to admit but you gotta learn the language because if you want to be American you must speak English. There's an upside and a downside though.

Negative = English is one of the most complicated languages on Earth.
Positive = You'll be bilingual.

Let me break this down for you. I am in no way racist of any race. However i do thin that they should not be allowed into the country as OFTEN as they do. I beleive we are all immigrants and we all have the right to be here. But I think that there should be more jobs made available first.

I think ALL immigration should be highly curtailed NOW. Glad you made it in but I'd put the brakes on now for a while. If our current level of immigration is continued by 2030, there will be 4 times the Americans we have now. We can't hold what we have at the moment.

If you are thirsty, do you drink until you drown yourself? NO! You drink until you are comfortable ....and then you drink again later. This is not rocket science.

BE AWARE that the USA changed its permited immigrations numbers in 1965. That's when all Hell broke loose. Before that, we admitted about 300,000 a year. People of ALL countries.
Not just Mexicans. Mexicans make up about 50% of our legal immigrants now. That's kinda insane to me.
There are fabulous people from all over the world who are excellent and want to be citizens.
Nothing wrong with Mexicans I might add but they are not better or worse than others. Diversity is a standard for America and we are not being diverse here.

Speak whatever language you want. Just don't expect us to cater you in your language in schools and public places. If you come here legally you have to provide evidence of abiltiy to comprehend and speak English. This is very reasonable. The language problems have come as a result of Illegal Mexican immigrants invading our land. It's got to stop.

You have not rights here unless you are a citizen. I should say you have the right to be treated as humanly as possible in any situation. That's kind of a human spirit law. But if you break our laws, just like all other criminals, you go to jail and are punished. All countries I know of use this standard to good effect.
Some are extreme. Possess drugs in Indonesia ...they will execute you. THe message is clear.

Come to the US legally if you do come. I for one, do not think we should allow more than a half million people a year into the USA and those should be on a fairly even spread to cultures/countries across the globe.

are you an immigrant cause the poverty in your country and you have to flew here to work? when you say that you you feel that should have same rigth just like everyone else in the entire country means- any body else who work?just like you.
You are rigth you should have same rigths as the same people who works like you. But the cruel reality this is not happening.

But there is many reasons they may ask you to speak english,
Americans probably wants to blend you more if you speak English ( political reason i guess ) if you speak english you are not been seen wrong for the rest who hates - called immigrants - cause they want to keep you here quietly.
I suggest you not get upset for this one, just try to take advantage in your own side.
Some people may hate this situation to death like those whites who may be racist, and some regular citizens that they love their own country but they feel upset cause you violate their laws.( this ones wont kill you )
If you see from another perspective, they ask people to speak english so all can understand each other, so nothing wrong with that.

No one likes immigrants. I cant figure out why our governments let so many come when we clearly dont want them. I guess its a way to secure votes.
