I think God doesn't really care whether you are illegal or not.
What matters is if you're doing good for the others and you're not using others or doing evil things in behalf ot the others.
"Illegals" or "illegal workers/migrants" are driven to look for a much greener pasture because poverty and need to survive and support others in their country drove them to go abroad risking anything because they want to to improve their life apart from what they were in their country of origin.
Illegals do the work that the native in that foreign country are not willing to do.
Illegals are hired by companies for their benefits to save on payroll and look more into fattening their income returns.
Illegals are just made by society: poverty, survival and decent living are the factors as thriving points of any illegal person.
as for Biblical reference.... the slaves in Egypt during Moses time are illegals!
Good ones go to heaven, and I'm not talking of illegal or legal.
There may be bad ones but reform to become good ones so I consider them candidates for heaven.
Remember that the end does not justify the means.
My query is... "is there really heaven and hell?" Have you seen one?
My parting remark is: "The company users (underpaying) hiring these illegals, the INSECURE RACISTS & SECULARS who condemn these illegals, the lawmakers who are passing laws for the benefit of the rich and in power...
where do you think they go? heaven hell or earthly glory of power that they create???" |

the illegal in the sense you are using is man's law, not God's law. |

God has been very clear we need to help our fellow people.
He also expects all of us to follow the Law. |

Ohe of the10 commandments is " though shall not steal ", and when illegals enter the U.S. and take what is not theirs, then they are stealing. |

What do you think He thinks about ANY criminals?
Why only mention "illegals"?? Why not make it a broad question and include ALL criminals??
The above poster said it correctly: It's not up to us to "judge" illegal aliens (or any other criminals for that matter).
BUT...it is up to us to ENFORCE our laws which we have created to prevent anarchy and preserve law and order in the world today.
And, in the year 2007...
All countries have the right to have immigration laws.
All countries have the right to ENFORCE immigration laws and our borders.
All citizens have the right to insist that our government enforces our immigration laws and borders. |

Nobody Is judging them based on race, national origin, religion or color of their skin! It is about Reasonable Rule of Law in the Host country and the Sovereignty of that Nation!
There is a distinct difference in Illegal Immigration, political assylum and obeying the law of God. People being persecuted should be given Political assylum, these are not run of the mill illegals. Illegals make it almost impossible for those who need Political Assylum to have a place in their adopted country and displaces the Citizens native to that country. God loves everbody and also requires them to Obey the laws of man when they do not conflict with His...Romans 13. |

Heaven?
I don't think God feels bound by our immigration laws in determining who goes to heaven. On the other hand, I am very sure he enforces his OWN. |

Where do you think the enforcers of the law talked about in this link go?? Heaven or hell? Are they wrong for enforcing their borders? Are they wrong for the WAY they enforce their borders?
http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/060815a.aspx
Are all countries wrong for enforcing their borders in your opinion...or only the United States?
One more question. Do you think they are hypocrites for criticizing the United States border enforcement?
Pink Rose
The fact that you may or may not go to heaven doesn't make you any more "legal" than anybody else. You are still an illegal alien and, if apprehended, face deportation and possible ban from reentry for many years.
The same as any criminal...you may or may not go to heaven...but...if apprehended...will have to face the consequences. |

God is not against a nation making laws.
I am sick and tired of illegals hiding behind their Catholic doors. You know the Catholics are being unfair to the rest of us. Thus - Protestantism. |

God loves every person in this Earth, I'm illegal and I'm pretty sure that I haven't done anything so bad to anyone in this world, I'm not a killer, I'm not a theft, I'm not a liar, I love this country and I want to die here. So I'm pretty sure, I'm going to heaven so I'll see you there! |

Illegals in our country have nothing to do with the bible. this country need to close the border. I use to live in Florida and when there was a boat load of Illegals arriving in Florida the crime would go up and many people would lose their jobs because the illegals would take them for a much lower pay. If they want to come to America come over legal.
Only God and the illegals know if they are going to heaven. We can not judge others on their faith in God. |

Part of being a good Christian is being a good citizen.
I think illegals will go to heaven- I don't think you're going to go to hell for just being in the country illegally.
There are plenty of other crimes that will put you in hell.
The 7 deadly sins-
pride
greed
envy
anger
gluttony
sloth
lust

The Israelites were illegals at one time. So were the early Christians...if you can be a theological illegal. Many Christians today are still "illegals" (such as in China, or the Islamic countries under the sharia).
God cares about people's souls, not their citizenship, unless you count their citizenship in His Kingdom. |

Hi
Personally I don't think that God would has any issues on this subject and if he did he would have far more pressing subjects like world fammine or war.
As for the question about them going to heaven well if you read the bible you would see that judgement isn't based on your legal/illegal status of a country but more about how you spent your time here on earth.
I am sure that everyone is going to have a different view on this question and you are going to receive varied answers but it is not up to us to judge people.

Yes, the New Testament tells a whole story about a guy who's an "illegal". He was born in a manger and lived his whole life outside the system before being arrested and eventually executed by "the man". I'm sure if he were here today Homeland Security and the religious right would treat him exactly the same way. |

nobody can prove that but it depends on you and other people's belives so in short there is no correct answer |

This is quite possibly the stupidest question I've ever read on these boards - and that is saying a lot.
God does not see anything about a person except what they hold in their hearts and minds.
"illegals"???
Pfft!

"Why did I answer it?"
Because I could. |
