What do you think about Illegal immigrants getting "Legal/ work permits" for snitching?

A newly revealed law enforcement policy allows illegal immigrants arrested during work-site raids to be released from jail and given work permits in exchange for their testimony against their employers, a House panel was informed Thursday, a tactic one lawmaker described as "de facto amnesty."

The policy was revealed as Democrats pressed to rein in a federal program that trains state and local police to enforce immigration laws, comparing the popular but contentious program to civil-rights-era police collusion with the Ku Klux Klan.

Might I suggest that we all join the American Tea Party Movement before we all become second class citizens in our own damn country.
Edit: We have a bunch of money grubbing retards running our country. The last time I checked they are supposed to be listening to the American people, and not the cooperate special interest, or even the minority special interest.
They may never get mass amnesty passed for the illegals, but little by little they will slide in laws, and bylaws that will add up to the same thing.

yeah that's a joke. its the same thing when they arrest a street level drug dealer that pedals an ounce of weed a day, they try to "flip" him and get him to reveal the "big guy" with the pounds of weed.

what are they getting from this action?
people to be a witness so the gov. can fine the company

so now all the illegals will be snitching to get work permits and you know that the border crossings will be out of control again

It doesn't sound like that policy is in our country's best interests, but I can believe it. So we're rewarding illegal immigrants by allowing them to stay if they will rat out U.S. companies that hire illegal immigrants? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of immigration laws? Wacky government, what will they think of next?

Ida Slapter
Sounds like something those left wing loons running the country would do.

Micky....the resurrection
I think it's amnesty no matter how you slice it and I think it's typical of the demorats. They don't care about this country or it's citizens.

Whatever works. The difference between this and the KKK is legality. Illegal workers are illegal and burdening legal Americans. They have the option of taking legal routes but refuse to do so. I'm not allowed to rob a bank, right? If someone turned me in for doing so and got an award for it, good for them. I shouldn't be breaking the law.

sounds great! We should offer $100 for every deported illegal.

Wolfmoon
I think it's pretty lame but the gov. does stuff like that all the time. Letting drug dealers off the hook to catch the suppliers. Etc.

Immigrants contribute to a country's economy and generate industrial diversity. They turn sluggish countries into hard working powerhouses.

Queen of ♥♥♥ Maria Lopez, unless you're a native American Indian, then, you're just as guilty as everyone else that lives there. The US is one big, violent and mulitcultural society.

GreasyTony is back
This is really great news! now we can actually know the real story behind these raids and working conditions. How are we suppose to believe statements from people like Sheriff Joe Apraio and his cronnies? We need to hear directly from the immigrants, not only from the people that are out to deport as many as they can.

The ones that allowed to stay and work, have been screened, so they aren't allowing them all to stay....so you can relax!

"The illegal immigrants were screened to ensure they do not present a threat to the U.S., and must check in weekly with an ICE agent. "
