I think if they hate Americans so much they have no business being here...they should stay in the country they are so proud of. And I think they are nervy as heck and have no manners at all. Also, I don't like the fact they are trying to take over the Southwest US (Reconquista.) All they are doing with the protests is pissing off more and more Americans and making us hate them. I sure as heck don't like seeing our flag being burned by them, or seeing it flying upside down under the Mexico flag. And I don't like hearing their bold demands for rights. Just who do they think they are? And then they have the audacity to call us racists for getting mad at their disrespectful behavior! It blows my mind... |

I know. It's retarded for them to come and do that. I wish they'd go back. Anyway alot of them get benefits that we ,llegal American citizens, don't get. And yet the government wants them to go back. |

Try going to the hospital at UCLA.If you are not on welfare you can't get help.I took my 8 year old grand daughter ,there for some test.They did not take Blue Cross.Only medi-cal.
I said "{because her dad works for a living ,takes care of his children,and is an America, she can't get help." The answer was Yes.

this is a topic that will leave a sour taste in everyones mouth tell it is solved i am more than happy to allow other people in this country that is how it got started and that is how it should be but what i have a problem with is the ones that come into this country and take advantage of it not paying taxes and taking jobs under the table this country is great it allows anyone who wants to work and make a living can its not always easy to make a buck and i know i wish i dident have to pay so much of my hard earnd money to taxes for the goverment and all that but i know its what keeps things running if we as a country allow people to come in we should have a plan in focus to make these people pay for what they get i do it my mom did it and so on and so forth you get the gist of what i mean i dont like ileagel people comeing in but i understand the want and need to better your life and in doing so pay back what you earn if you drive pick plow carry run whatever you do for work pay your taxes and it will make this country a better place and it will make it a more stable one |

They should learn to speak English, but to force them to drop their culture is a little harsh. Maybe they do get benefits they don't pay for, but why is that important? They're people too. People are much more important than money, that's something most of us don't seem to get nowadays. And whose fault is it that they're coming in? If it's such a big problem, do something about it and protect the border. |

I guess, its the way we are raised that affects our thinking. Color or custom does not define a person, but their actions. Anyone with common sense knows that all the ruckus about illegal immigrants is political. Do they work in high paying jobs? I don't think so. Usually a contractor will pay them 5-12 dollars less for the same work than a U.S. citizen. The problem is most U.S. citizens don't want to work that hard with no benefits. Look around, who is seeking work just about anywhere doing dirty, sweaty, or unpleasant work? You? Of course no ones want criminals of ANY nationality. Do you know that if you invest $250,000 in the U.S. you can get a visa? Do you know the U.S. subsidies Vietnamese and helps them enter the U.S.? Forget about customs and such. Be a well informed citizen and act according. |

i love law-biding citizens...come in legally-make sure your stay remains legal...and americans have no problem with you. we want legal immigrants...not illegal aliens of which we have no knowledge, and no recourse at present |

It depends on which ones you are talking about, those that are citizens, those that are here legally, and those who are here illegally. I look at each group separately because there are differences in each group and as a result, I have a different opinion for each. |

laws can be changed; just cuz the supreme court passes a legislation doesnt mean that its final; ppl will protest and sue the state or federal gov't in which the supreme court must reconsider. its not ppl who protesters want to change but our laws. the new abortion law just passed but im still the same person as yesterday |

Illegal aliens are breaking the law. Thay is why they are called illegals.
If they don't have a green card, send their asses home!
If they come back again, put 'em in jail for a year and then send them home.
I don't mind immigrants, legal immigrants. The braceros I worked with were some of the hardest working and most dedicated folks I've ever known. To a man they all had green cards, and when INS came by for inspection, they all happily showed their documents.
If folks can't obey the law, ship 'em out!
One more thing, when they come to this country, let immigrants learn the languages and customs of the country! Speaking the old language at home is fine, but for business outside the home English should be the rule. |

I don't see the rush to get into america. if they watch t.v they'd see a crazy president, a lamb-for-the-slaughter country/society, and a two faced government hell bent on nickel and diming everyone too death. We don't even have privacy in our own home. they put camera in my apartment and bugged the place for months not to mention wipe tap my cell phone and internet connection all because the real life men in black thought i had information on them. my fake best friend bit the bullet so to speak after he encountered some bizzare things. but that's another story. |
