I have to provide this for my sister and common-law spouse and two children. this is required by the Canadian Immigration office in Kingston Jamaica.

Write that you will support them when they come to Canada. You are not legally bound by it for a skilled worker application. It also does not have anything to do with money since they have to show themselves that they have enough funds to settle in Canada.
Are they planning on staying with you when they arrive? If yes, write that, otherwise write that you will advice them with their first steps in Canada, help them find housing, jobs etc.
You can also visit and immigrant/newcomer centre in your town and see if they can offer you any advice, maybe examples of letters or something like that. |
