If it's regarding your passport, it's the place where the passport was issued. It's USUALLY the same country as the passport country, EXCEPT when you live or were travelling in a different country and the local consulate issued the document. The country/place of issue is usually listed right next to the issue and expiration dates. |

Take your passport.
Look at the front cover.
Read the name of the country on the front cover.
Write that country down where it says "Country of issue".
