You make a point that I think a lot American citizens don't really get:
These illegal aliens are hostile to the US and its citizens.
They don't come here because they admire or respect the US, they come here to plunder our resources - any way/everyway they can.
It is appalling that our government has allowed this to get so out-of-hand. What happened to the federal government's responsibility to secure our borders?
But yeah, let the illegals "take to the streets" again and clog traffic during rush hour, (attempt to) disrupt commerce, intimidate citizens, insult the US and its culture, scuffle with cops, and otherwise show their true colors. Maybe more Americans will catch on. |

They might be a little affraid of getting round up and deported. |

they will start setting the cities on fire one day. We need to deport them. |

Since the Amnesty bill got shot down in flames, I'm thinking they are not so confident in regards to their standing any more in this country and its in their best interest to lay low. |

Yeah, they're their own worst enemy. but don't tell them that, let them hang themselves. Saves us the problem |

As far as not a joke. Yes it is. They want all that America has to offer yet they say that this isn't our land anyway and raise their flags and not the American flag. They aren't here to be good Americans they are here to take over. If they really cared about America they would come here legally but instead they go around complaining about our laws the same laws that as an American they would have to obey. America is so much better than my country and we have more opportunity here but a few things must change? I don't think so. |

they went back to working at the taco stands, and seeing how many members of thier workcrew they can fit into a minivan... It's a rough life... eating tacos all day and being crammed into a confined space on wheels.... |

There have been two major portests about a year apart (and the second was noticeably smaller and with fewer Mexican flags than the first), there won't be a third major one until next year. |

They fizzled out. With the anger that was expressed with the Senate's amnesty bill, I think they are afraid.
I wish they would march again & not go to work! Do another May 1st protest! It proved that we get along just fine! |

they figured out that the only business that were hurting during their silly little marches were the ones that closed to support them.
all other businesses did just fine and all the other citizens were happy to be able to go out and not get caught in a traffic jam and everyone working spoke and understood english.
so basically their true colors came out.... that will be the new mexican battle cry... i support you ... but... make me lose money and i stop supporting you. |

Their leaders have wised up. And saw how it made Americans madder. Now they wave American flags. |

Yeah, they certainly didn't do themselves any favors. I think they need to look for new leaders, as the ones they have are steering them down the wrong road. They brought too much bad attention to themselves. |

Now they are out endorsing Michael Moore's " Sicko"...free health care for all. The middle class will have inferior health care as a result. |

I think they realized how hated they are, gee I wonder why? Maybe they figured out that they are completely unwelcome and that just maybe the next march will be their last when t he immigration agents show up, round them up, and send their lazy ****s back to mexico. |

It might have dawned on some of them that they are hurting only themselves and that I/We frankly don`t give a crap about their day off.It did not have the impact they were hoping...
They only succeeded in angering the American Citizens with their treatment of our flag and showed their true colors as to as to where they side. |

I want to see a final march....all of them back across the border. |

I'm American (and I have family members who have fought for previous wars for the US) and we march with them. So what?
What makes you more American, being against illegal immigration, or if you have fought a war for the US?
You don't even know what you are fighting for. |

well thats one reason-the fear of getting deported
and they are waiting on an answer from congress
p.s. this aint no joke so dont be treating it like one ppl do these marches from the heart for the good of their family not to entertain ppl who are lucky enough to live here because there not foreign |

I know you were being sarcastic but it does make politicians want to give us amnesty. We just have to try harder so next time nobody will block the bill. |
