i'm being asked to pay for this person or they will kill her i have the ransom note and plane receipt saved on my computer. they are giving me until monday 4-20-09 to come up with the money or they will kill her and her 4 year old daughter. who could i send the information to?

Yes, you are almost certainly being scammed, hard to imagine kidnappers who would send out mass emails to whom it may concern. However, it wouldn't hurt to contact the Office of Overseas Citizens Services at the Department of State, even so. I imagine they'd like to see your email. Here's the contact info:

If not then it is a scam.
If yes then you should go to the police and let them deal with it.
Do you know for sure that the "abducted person" is at home or at work today or not? Have you caled them to find out?
If yes (they are at home) then it is scam
if not - then call them right now and find out. if they are not at home then call the pplice - DO NOT pay any money out to anyone. |
