As an American with a Mexican background I find that very offensive. All my realtives came into this country legally. And why are you just picking on the Mexicans? What about all the Asians, Indians, Middle Easterns, Russisns, Europeans, etc....who are here illegally. It's fine to leave them, but pursecute the Mexicans? You need to get a reality check and think about what you say before you say it. And just for your information, this country was created by immigrants. |

Perfect...if you want an American country just for american people, America must stop selling american products to the mexicans, and the rest of the world.
Oh! but no...you know...America needs the rest of the world, even the mexicans to buy the products. I think that would be completely fair.
Its funny. Americans dont want the Mexicans but they love to sell american products to them in Mexico. Americans dont want the middle east people but they love their petroleum and to sell them guns.
America have the economy it have right now because of the money that comes from the rest of the world. |

You might have hit on something here. With 12 million illegal immigrants possibly they could earn citizenship by fighting for it. Why shouldn't they get on the bandwagon the same as the people who employ illegals. It would cost a lot less and get the job done over there while they earn citizenship at the same time. Two birds with one stone as you say. To the prior poster, of course everyone knows many Mexican-Americans and ancestors have earned their way but they did it legally. |

Why round anybody up? Just make it HIGHLY illegal to hire an illegal, and start shutting down businesses and fining private parties that hire em. When mexico finally realizes and wakes up to the fact that it has to build its' own future instead of demanding one from america, that'll pretty much be the end of it... |

Keep the legal Mexicans, they are citizens like you and me.
EVERYONE is an immigrant to this continent. The "Native Americans" came from Asia! People here and all over the world wish to pick a place in history that is convenient for them to freeze time and say that "this is our ancestral home".
Many factors in the world today call for well regulated borders that were not here in antiquity.
By the way, were already were hated by the Middle Easterners way before the Iraq war and this Immigration issue. |
