What is a fair form of punishment for illegal immigrants?

Make them sit on the computer and read YA Immigration category for 8 hours a day, seven days a week.. they will run screaming and couldn't be paid to come back.

Take away incentives, and they will go home. Just use E-VERIFY in the job market, and social services, if they have to prove who they are before getting anything that draws them here, why would they bother?

First offense: immediate deportation

Second offense: imprisonment for ten years and forced to work on building the border wall. Just like they force graffiti scum to clean graffiti

First let me say that I have nothing against people from other countries who want to make America their home. But they must come legally AND learn to speak ENGLISH. Itâ€™s rude to come here to live and babble on and on in a foreign tongue never making the effort to learn our language. Again, Iâ€™m talking about those who are coming here to live, not visitors from other countries.

As to what to do with illegalâ€™s, they should be documented and deported. They should not be allowed to â€œget in the back of the line" for a determined amount of time. Then, they can follow the procedure to come here legally and enjoy the privilege of being a United States citizen. I know lots of folks from the Philippines who followed legal procedure to come here. They are hard working people, theyâ€™ve learned the language and Iâ€™m proud to call them my friends. Iâ€™m willing to help anyone who appreciates this country and wants to come here to liveâ€¦but I will not tolerate illegalâ€™s coming here and becoming a drain on the tax payer.

Yes, deport them and their kids. The parents set themselves and their children up for failure so it is NOT on the backs of U.S. citizens to feel guilty, get over it illegals and illegal lovers.

Second offense should be mandatory time on a chain gang followed by immediate deportation.
Third time should be capital punishment.

SO its ok for you guys (lets say) if they have kids...to leave the kids here and send their parents back?

i think a fair punishment would be denying/charging them health care or WIC....but not deport them.

So-called "illegal" immigrants have not necessarily committed a crime, so they don't deserve to be punished. But civil deportation is not really a punishment either.
