What is significantly good about the contribution of illegals to our on-going civil-war of words and laws?

Mex. Pres. Calderon said Mexican immigrants make a "significant contribution to the economy and society of the United States".
But our unemployment would be lower without law-breaking people taking jobs here. Our unemployment insurance is being renewed over and over because of this "significant contribution." And borders should not be determined by those who are on the other side of them, not by crossing them and then expecting sanctuary, and for escape from the law by Federal agents who are ordered to ignore Federal laws.
Calderon and those like him offend me. He said the Mexican cartels would not be powerful if Americans would just stop demanding illegal drugs, while our government continues to keep them illegal.
Legal Mexican immigrants do not offend me. What is "significant" about the contribution of illegals to our on-going civil-war of words and laws?

Plenty of significant details but none of them good. They take away from normal tax paying citizens. They demand that our country adapt to them rather then they adapt. They take away jobs that Americans should be doing... however this one is shady as many Americans refuse to do those jobs because the lower class that should be doing those jobs find it easier to be on welfare and not working making more. Then they have children who don't adapt to American society and instead make a new society that is more similiar to Mexican society then American society. Those children then get benefits paid as American citizens when parents never paid into the system of tax's to cover that share. Those children then turn around later to try and sponsor more who then try and play the system and turn American society around. Usually sponsoring illegals who are already in the US illegally. |
