I am trying to go for a game that requires you to be a US resident but I am not sure if I qualify. Is a US resident someone who lives in the US or someone who has the green card? Please help.

I am a US resident but not a US permanent resident. I have an H-1B visa. As a resident it means I live in the USA but I have no right to stay here permanently.
Not until I get my green card in about 8 years will I be a US permanent resident, which allows me to stay here the rest of my life and five years after that to apply for citizenship. |

The definition for immigration and that required for the game may be different. Suggest you get a clarification. If lawful permanent residence is required, then you would need the green card. |
