What is the latest up date with and AZ vs Illegals Immigration?

Barack Obama is completely out of control over this one. The latest is that he intends to sue the state of Arizona over the immigration law.

He made an impassioned speech about immigration in this country - about how this country was made great by immigrants like Einstein, Nicola Tesla, Andrew Carnegie, and others. He gazed into the distance and talked about the "diverse fabric of America" and how we need immigration to maintain our greatness, and to keep our very identity.

He did not use the word "Illegal" in his speech, nor did he talk about human trafficking or drug trafficking. He did not mention the violence in Arizona by illegal immigrants, or the fact that Phoenix is the "kidnapping capital of the world".

The latest is a leak of the training video used to instruct the police. It certainly looks like the cops will be more afraid now than before to question people about immigration status. They're basically being told that every arrest will be so scrutinized that they'll be throwing their careers away if they actually follow the letter of the law. Look for a stay from the 9th Circuit Court, a law that never officially goes into effect and much ado about nothing. All the while the cartels continue to turn AZ into a shooting gallery.

If the elections are coming closer, more action to ensure re election.
Otherwise the old promises still stand.

1. A challenge to a provision of an earlier law punishing AZ employers for not using E-VERIFY to verify legal status, filed by the Chamber of Commerce, was accepted by the Supreme Court via certiorari and will be heard next term.

2. The federal lawsuit against AZ was just filed.

3. California is now reconsidering its boycott.

4. Other than that, the law does not take effect until July 29.

On (1), if it were filed by the ACLU instead of the Chamber of Commerce, it would be seen in an entirely different light.
