I'm a teacher by qualification,worked for two years in Belarus(russian speaking country) at a local school.

I am afraid you will need to re-qualify to be a teacher here. There are a lot of highly educated professionals from overseas in the UK, and not all of them work in their fields because of the differences of educational systems, lack of language etc.
However, you can work as a nanny in families. Or try hospitality or catering, this is where most of the foreigners seem to be employed.

If you can teach science, you can easily get a job, as long as you can speak reasonable English. Private schools would be easier because they don't need to follow certification rules, but you might be able to transfer your certification anyways. |
