What questions would be on an American citizenship test?

I am British and I would one day after hopefully achieving a Green Card become an official legal American citizen. But what would be on an American citizenship test? Also, don't I have to live in America for a certain amount of time before I can take it?

Generally, you have to be a Permanent Resident for 5 years before you can apply for citizenship.Here's a link for more information on the requirements:

First you'd have to live (legally!) in the US for 3 to 5 years (depending on how you got your green card).
The questions on the test are ridiculously easy. Simple things like how many senators are there, when was the declaration of independence issued, who's currently president, who's governor of your state. Things like that. Get 6 out of 10 right, and you passed.
