What? Why would be arrested, first of all, if you are here on a Visa legally? Green cards take years and a lot of money for lawyers and fees. |

It depends on how long s/he has been out of status and what kind of conviction s/he gets from arrest. If it is felony, then very unlikely to get green card despite the fact s/he gets married to US Citizen.

The word would be deported. If you are out of status, you can be deported and whatever future legal means of applying for PR will be jeopardized. Marriage will not make them legal. |
