oh boy...alot of people will definitely have a say on this...BUT...we are in the USA and we do live better lives than most countries..this is why we are hated mostly...Korea doesn't even allow outside influence like TV's...etc..we have alot of waste, we over eat, we want higher wages with increase benefits, we want fast fixes..etc...we have faults..one of them being fair about this immigration problem..I work fulltime and my children do not get free stuff...we have to pay for education, food, taxes etc...and they could have to go to war if draft law goes into effect...so why not let some immigrants share theses rules...they want to come over...then they should work, pay taxes, fight for our country..etc..in other words become a real U>S> Citizen...no freebies...ask yourself how a US citizen would get treated over in Mexico? or anywhere....yikes...scares me...but I know there are some good immigrants that really do want to work so go thru our customs and get legalized and I'll be the 1st one to shake your hand on the welcoming committe...we are really a diversified country...but I do not respect any immigrant coming over for a freebie or telling us to speak Spanish...you are welcome to learn English as well as we are to learn Spanish if we so choose...earn your living and keep the PEACE...not any one race is superior |

This is a very difficult thing to change, as people with VERY deep pockets (the agriculture and manufacturing industries!!!) make money off of cheap labor!
The taxpayer gets stuck with the bill for social services, school and healthcare and the CEO's make billions!
The public really has to rise up, and demand change and not empty words and promises which never get followed through because someone is slipping cash into the politician's back pocket.
You should be ready for a rise in prices, but the real problem with that is cheap imported good from China and other communist countries!
Once again, CEO's make billions, the American worker gets the shaft!
We need to demand that our politicians do better! |

Here is what I think should be done.
Everyone of them should be rounded up and prepared for deportation. All their belongings should be either sold at auction or donated to AMERICANS(why should they get to keep anything that was obtained during the act of a crime)
DNA records should be obtained from each one of them. They should then be sent back to their home country with specific instructions that they are banned form the USA for a period of 10 years and if they come back before then they run the risk of the death penalty.
this country is so over crowded with ILLEGAL INVADERS that we can not handle anymore. Our infrastructure can not tolerate the extra burden of these people. If they spent as much energy trying to make their own country a decent place to live as they do breaking our laws and living over here then they might not need to be here ILLEGALLY. |

Ok I think that the illegal immigrants that come here to for more opportunities should be able to get their citizenship green car etc. It makes me mad to hear people just say ship em out. They are not animals!! They are people just like us looking for a way to better their lives. My dad used to live in Mexico but he is a legal citizen now. When him and my mom got together everybody looked down on them because they automatically thought he was an illegal immigrant but he wasnt. He was here for vacation and he met my mom and they fell in love and got married ect. Newyas my dad tells me about how bad Mexico is and how much crime there is. It makes me feel depressed just thinking about it. I have aunts that have been robbed many times at gun point, have gotten their cars taken away from the at gun point and all they were doing was sitting waiting for the light to change. If you were in that situation with children what would you do? Huh? You would get your family out of there. America is known as the land of opportunities so why not give them an opportunity! If they follow the traffic laws, havent been to jail etc then why not give them the opportunity to be legal. It makes me mad to think about the way that they deport people. Instead of starting to raid businesses maybe you should start deporting the illegal imigrants that are in jail, that beat their wives and children and the ones that are murderers. They are the ones that need to be kicked out. Another thing to think about is if the illegal immigrants were deported our economy would go downhill. If you look at all of the orchards, large farms etc. who is working there? The illegal immigrants because they will do anything to keep their family afloat. How many people who are "legal" and unemployeed would really do that kind of work? I mean honestly. Another thing that bugs me is that if you want to bring a family member here to become legal you have to wait 14 years! That is ridiculous. I have a friend whos brother comes to visit him every year and he comes her legally with a passport and everything but he wants to become and american citizen. Well a Lawyer told him not to put a petition in because if its a sibling putting a petition in for another sibling then it takes 14 years. And on top of that it will show in the system that there is a petition for citizenship and then the consule wont let him even come to visit. No wonder people jump the border! The immigration laws are ridiculous! Maybe we should change our laws a lil bit and maybe that will help with the percentage of illegal immigrants we have in th U.S. |

one of the companies that was contracted to build part of the border fence, on the Mex. border, just got in trouble for using illegals on their work crew. we don't have enough people, (here legally) to do all of the crap work. |
