What to do about Ex and Baby's Daddy being an illegal immigrant?

My ex boyfriend is an illegal immigrant. He cheated on me with my bestfriend while I was 3 months pregnant. While we were together I found out he was an illegal immigrant from Mexico. He also admitted that he was part of a major gang in Mexico and that he's killed people and has contacts here in the U.S. With all this info (cheating, immigrant, killing, and gang) I obviously broke up with him. But I obviously didn't get far away from him, him being the father of my 2 month old. He's says he wants to be apart of the baby's life he hardly ever comes on his days (I have a schedule for him when he comes over) If he had it his way he'd come on random days at random times automatically expecting me to be home. He doesn't help support my baby, I had to move back in with my parents, I lost my job (they fired me when they found out I was pregnant) so my parents help support me and my baby. He is never going to be alone with the my child ever due to the fact that he can easily take my baby and go to mexico and I'll never see my baby again. I can never talk to him and anything cause when he comes over he blames me for what happened to us. He criticises the way I do things (Is the baby hungry?, Did you change the diaper?, Why are changing the diaper now?, Why are you putting the baby to bed now? etc.) He thinks that since it is his child he has a say in how she is being raised rather then my parents whose roof I live under. I can never tell him how I truly feel about things due to his horrible temper and for the fact that with his "contacts" he can easily have me killed and take my baby.

My questions are: Should I turn him in to immigration? What do I do about child support? How do I tell him that I don't want him in mine or the baby's life?

I didn't find out about what kind of a person he was or have been until we were together. He wasn't the type of person to talk about things until he gets drunk and that's when he would let things slip.

Do I have to get sole custody even if he's not the the birth certificate? Can he even try to get custody since he's not legal?

Report him to immigration authorities. Call ICE Hotline.

If he has threatened you, file a police report. If he gives any indication of harming you or the baby, call the police immediately. Meanwhile, get a court order of sole custody for the baby, and a restraining order against him. I'd suggest you get an attorney to ensure this is done expeditiously and properly and handle any of his attempts to contest or forestall any court order.

Then move! You need to move out of the area, preferably out of state (you may need a court order to take the baby out of state, unless you have those sole custody and restraining orders -- ask your lawyer), where he cannot find you or the baby. You are going to have to get a job and support your baby. You know you can never count on him for a penny of child support. You need to take every precaution to ensure he or his gang members cannot stalk you.

Get it done, and get out of that town & state.

you can certainly report him to immigration, but if he's doing all these things, maybe you should think more about reporting him to the police.

I find it difficult to believe that anyone would find out ALL of these things at the same time, "illegal immigrant, unfaithful, critical, horrible temper". Since you have a child you must have been with him for at least a minute. Some or all of these things should have been apparent during the course of your courtship with him. It always makes me curious if the illegal immigrant part would have been an issue if the the person had not been unfaithful. I am not sure why you are even asking if you should turn him into immigration but do not expect them to rush right out and get him. Personally I would not let him in my home, and I do not believe he is a big time gangster with contacts everywhere, sounds to me like a fantasy made up to impress or scare an impressionable girl.

Perhaps you can start going to a psychologist and figure out why you consider him boyfriend material?

* I think your in a very chaotic and possibly dangerous situation.
* talk to him and ask him not to see the baby, if he refuses then get the authorities involved.
* he could potentially be dangerous if he does have these ties with those organizations, so think carefully if you want to be exposed to some sort of retaliation.
*I'd say get the authorities involved and get a restraining order, and since he's not on the birth certificate.. even better.

* get away from him, seems like your still allowing him back in your life.? cut all ties with him.

* then live life and learn from your mistakes.

* so if he doesn't want to help, then let him go.

I'd turn him in to immigration and give them any and all information you have on him and what he has done in the past. I wouldn't worry about getting child support from him but I would have a court order that he gets supervised visitation only for what you know he is capable of doing and make him stick by the rules. If he doesn't, don't let him come over. You have a life to live, live it and don't worry about him.
Not to be rude, Are you sure it's his? You could tell him that your not sure and make him take a DNA test, then give the results to INS so they can monitor what he is doing and if they have any unsolved crimes, he just might match up.

Be careful in what you do though, if he really has contacts, you might end up in danger or your family.

well i don't mean to be rude but how can u be asking if u should ? of course u should , this is a dangerous individual who should not even be at the street , plus im pretty sure than if u had to "fight" over the child custody there would not be fight at all here or in Mexico . it is obvious the full custody would be given to u .

I believe you I don't know why someone would come on here and accuse you of making up a story like this. I mean no one is that bored it's horrible that you found these things out so late and that you had a baby with a horrible horrible man. Me personally would report him. It doesn't sound like things are gonna ever get better between youi only worse. Also I WOULD be afraid he will kid nap your baby and try to take it to Mexico. my sisters dad did that with her and got all the way to the border where he was arrested. thank god he didn't get through or else we would have never seen her again.

If he is not on the birth certificate by law he is not the father.I'd call the police charge him with stalking and disclose his past
