Hello!!!
I just found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant.
About to give birth by 3rd week of November 09.
I was filed for H1B last April 1, 2009.
What will happen if I got approval of H1B?
Can I ask my employer to have my medical exam after giving birth?
Can I go to USA maybe Dec 09 or Jan 2010 after I gave birth instead of Oct1, 2009?
What is the best option to my situation?
I hope somebody answer my queries.

If your petition is among the 65,000 petitions selected in the FY 2010 "lottery," you can give birth in November as planned and come to the U.S. later.
Assuming that your employer agrees, and that the petition is approved, and the validity period of the petition is long enough, you could apply for your visa after your baby is born as you suggested, e.i., Dec 2009 or Jan 2010.
As long as you are coming to the U.S. to work for the petitioner, and no one else, you can enter the U.S. anytime during the validity period of the petition (presuming that you have a valid H-1B visa). |

it all depends on your employer. it is really up to them if they are willing to wait or not. you can tell them your situation now before it is too late. good luck. |

I have to assume you are outside US and after getting H1B Approval, which will have start date on Oct 1, 2009.
If you employer is a consultant, there is very good chance that you can go for H1B Stamping after Jan or Feb 2010.
If you have applied through direct employer, they will be willing to work with you according to the companies vacation policy |
