Uh, I really liked the second answer ... to be honest if you are too lazy to do the research yourself it's highly unlikely you will follow through.
You do not need a green card to move to the US you just need a Visa.
There are different types of Visa's, student, visitor, work ... etc. Go to www.state.gov for more information. |

You can only get to live in the US permanently if you either marry an American, be sponsored to get a job there or invest a minimum of £100,000 in a business there. Any other way is not permanent and you have to go back to your own country every so often before you can return to the US. |

i would advise you that if things are going well for you where you are to stay there. things here are not going to well. people are losing jobs and homes constantly. alot of people with jobs are having it hard because the jobs are not paying much compared to the cost of living. alot of jobs are not paying much due to illegal immigrants. some of us have a hard time getting a job because it may be worth $20hr but an illegal immigrant will settle for $7hr so most likely their going to get it. so things aren't all that great here like you may think. |

You need immigrant visa to move to US. You need a sponsor, either immediate family member or US Employer, to petition you.
