Well, we can probably take a critical look at Mexico and get a future glimpse of what may happen to ANY country they may eventually become the "majority race" of...right or wrong? That would be assuming a population became a "majority race" overnight. Of course, there are lots of variables...and that would have to include total suppression of the current population of the current inhabitants of the country, which would practically be an impossibility.

In reality, this would be a very gradual thing, over several generations. The difference would be very subtle.

The same as ANY people that migrates to a new country...

We would not never become a "Mexican" country....we would only have more of cultural melting pot, like our current population. That's what makes America great. We absorb different cultures. The sum is better than the individual parts.

I will shout "Bailemos!" Well, besides that... Alberto G is right - this is not a "racial" issue, and even if it were, it wouldn't be a problem with me. My grandparents were all immigrants from various countries and they contributed their special something to the American culture. As has been said, "Mexicans", (a term that seems to encompass all the people of Latin America) will adapt to the existing culture, and change it, as everyone in the past has done. Some people don't like to think of the past and won't think of the future. America is a work in progress - love it or leave it!

As we are learning in Iraq, you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Some people just can't be free now matter what you do. Freedom can be very difficult. Move to Mexico, kick out all the rest of the Mexicans, and start over. After the Mexicans screw up the USA, they will sneak back across the border to enjoy what we have built once again. I think Mexico would be a great place to live if it weren't full of Mexicans.

It'll be many more decades before it affects the entire US, but when they take the SW, they'll begin by kicking out all the non-Hispanics and "Gringoes" in the area so they can create their new "Aztlan".

The first plan of action is to educate people like yourself that don't understand that Mexican is not a race. In addition, you also need to learn that not all immigrants come from Mexico although about 58% do and once their children are born in the US they can no longer be considred "Mexican". I think that will or at least should be the first plan of action.
