I'm with Doom.... and he might also toss in a reminder of the 10 commandments! Thou shalt not... |

Jesus of Nazareth told his disciples to follow to laws of the land. That's enough for me.
Illegal immigration is against the law of the land. |

If Jesus were here why we he not fix Mexico so there would be no need for illegal immigration or talk of it. |

There is not ONE case of Jesus breaking ANY civil laws, or Pharisees would surely have brought up such case against Him at His (sham) trial, yet there was not even one proved case of Jesus breaking one civil law, as Pilate tastified to that. ..So He surely would not be crossing borders illegally, nor would He approve of anyone else doing that. |

The real question should be directed to the political leaders and rich people of the countries where they originate from and feel compelled to leave. These countries have a ruling class that will not allow them to have anything and do not believe in justice. Mexico has the world's second richest man in the world but that pig won't give the poor or working class anything.
So don't put the moral burden on us, put it back on their own countries. |

Jesus would probably tell them to go home..He fed 12 men on a piece of bread, try to feed millions with it... |

Ha ha Gill, you are very persistent. i have to begrudgingly admire you for it. What on earth has jesus got to do with immigration??? Come to that, what on earth has Jesus got to do with any! thing? i think that if i explained to Jesus that the boat only supported twelve, and if i took on another one, it would sink and drown every one.....he would support me on that. |

Jesus would have to say..."they will not commit crime in the U.S.". "They will speak English and not act retarded". |

Im sorry to say but F$% Jesus. We have laws just like his ten commandments. He demands his laws be followed why should we take a step back to break our own laws. That sounds hypocritical to me. Lets enforce our laws, that is what would win me over. |

What kind of question is that? How can anyone even presume to know what Jesus would say?
Supporters of illegal immigration will stoop to any level to justify breaking the law.
Get a life! |

Win me over to what side? You state your question in such a way that suggests YOU know what Jesus would say if he were here. |

In an ideal world every person should be able to live where they want to live I dont think many people would argue with that. Unfortunately because wealth isn't spread evenly some countries would end up terribly overpopulated and others would be pretty much empty.
As a Christian Jesus wouldn't have to tell me much to convince me because I trust him completely. I imagine he'd say something like 'only God owns the Earth and it was created for everybody to enjoy' but ofcourse he would be able to tell you something much wiser than that.
I dont agree with illegal immigration but when you put yourself in the immigrants shoes you can definitely understand it. |

Doom said it better. Jesus was not against law and order as it is stated in the Bible.
"What you owe to Caesar (meaning government - law and order) give to Caesar, what you owe to God give to God" |

Even Jesus followed the laws of the land, and neighboring borders/townships. He and other travelers even had papers of who they were, and where they were from.
There are somewhere between 600 and 1000 commandments in the Bible. Yet only 10 are pointed out due to christian beliefs. 5 of how to approach God, and 5 moral commandments of how to live in any society.
The ONLY reason the bible was translated to English, was because King Henry wanted it so. In translating the bible into English, the English wording made no sense, or twisted the meaning.
So those of you who refer to the bible for your reason to coddle illegals are missing a lot of information to back up your agenda.
Read in the bible where it clearly states that not everyone will be allowed into heaven, let alone near the throne of God. Even the 4 walls, and 4 gates will keep out those who are not worthy according to God. |

Not anything because he was nothing more than just a man with some talent.
It has already been proved that he had a wife and children (which would be the norm of that period of time, more so than NOT having it).
Religion is nothing more than a way for the people in power to control the masses, and the "Son" is actually the "Sun" which gives us life. Without the "Sun" we would be dead...the "Son" has not done anything for me accept make me feel bad about myself for it being drilled into my head that people are all evil unless they belong to your religious affiliation. |

Jesus would say "whatever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me"
----
Jerome B - "Jesus would probably tell them to go home..He fed 12 men on a piece of bread, try to feed millions with it..."
according to the bible, he did also feed a crowd of 5 thousand men (and then some more women and children) with 2 fishes and 5 loaves - http://wordofloveforyou.com/Fish1.htm
excerpt - As the sun began to set in the west, his apostles began to worry. “Lord shouldn’t we send the people away…so they can find food and a place to sleep?”
Jesus looked at them and said, “Give them food and let them eat.” |

Instead of telling people to follow the law (“Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”), if he'd have said, "Laws, what laws? I don't follow no stinking laws" I'd support illegal immigration. |
