Not really as due to the nature of swine flu it is rarely fatal, especially when you have access to a good health system.

In terms of it spreading then yes, it's airbourne so can spread very quickly and easily however humans will very quickly become immune to the majority of its effects.

it most likely can.and you are speaking of the possibility of mexican borders jumpers with swine flu getting into america while i can assure you that has probably already happened. i dont think this will turn out to be something like the spanish influenza because out medicine and technology are much more sophisticated now but there is a possibility that it will spread to many more people although not all of them may die. after all airborne diseases are extremely hard to contain.

Anyone who ha a swine flu would be quarantened, and unless it's contagious through the atmosphere, it won't spread.

Seriously spending your mind time worrying about it isn't going to change anything and will only lower your immune system through stress.

If you are basically healthy even if you get it, you are going to feel really unwell for a few days or a week and then it will pass.

We had a really bad flu grouping in the UK about 35 years ago.

I was ill for about 6 weeks and spent one whole day no less, thinking I was going to die!!.

But I am still here and so is everyone else I know who caught it, so don't panic.

The U.S. gov't has trouble stopping illegal immigration, let alone a flu virus. As it were to seem most of our problem stem from mexico, we should take stricter stides in containing not only the flu, but the mexican illegals.
"Save a job! Save a life!" That should be the U.S. motto.
our gov't is to lax when it comes to foriegn policy. as most illegals are supported as soon as they have children in our country. Then we are left to pay for them.

any virus can get out of control. after he news of the swine flu i watched a program on the history channel. it wasn't nice. the world was with out human life. our pets turned wild and there was no humans around. our buildings crumbled. and yes we could have another epidemic.

if it was JUST the flu then why are they still calling it H1N1? that is the swine flu, not the common flu. the person asking the question is only asking. and yes it could happen.

I fail to see why you have connected immigration with H1N1. Pandemics spread regardless of immigrants.
