That would be a great thing for America! We could assimilate the tens of millions of immigrants here more easily. The dropout rate in public schools would lower and test scores of our public school students would soar. Wages for American workers would rise steadily, unemployment would be below 3 percent, and tax revenue would increase. There would be fewer people needing government services, so the government would be able to pay back the massive debt.

ON the negative side, inflation would rise as wages rose; but it would be well worth it to get our economy booming again!

It would cause a lot of trouble because then we would lose money. We send merchants to Mexico and Canada we would lose billions of dollers. Honestly that would not be a good thing to do right now with this economical crisis.

The labour factory companies will experience a job loss since most of the people working in factories are illegal immigrants who are underpaid and exploited.

We would still have large Agricultural Conglomerates hiring the illegals who remain. We would still have the Construction Companies using the illegals, we would have private citizens driving around looking for the illegal standing on the corner looking for work and willing to accept a lower wage scale because it is all cash and he doesn't have to declare it on taxes.
I suggest the US take the trained Snipers of the Marines and US Army and put them every 500 yards on the border and shoot anything that moves coming across the border, leave their stinking rotting carcases out there for the next one to see who wants to cross the desert illegally. I think we could then in two weeks announce the illegal immigrant crossing the southern border to be a thing of the past. Next make it a Federal Crime to hire someone here illegally and the fine would be five years in solitary confinement with no chance of parole. I think the traffic stream heading for Mexico would be so great you would have to wait a month or two to travel the roads running N and S across the US.

(Immigrants are a vital component in the growth engine that is the US economy. People born in the US, for the most part, have NO IDEA how good they have it and what amazing opportunity exists here! Think about it, there is a logical reason that immigrants to the US are between four and eight times more likely to become millionaires that people born here...)
