I have to agree with inforceing them. And cracking down on sanctuary city laws. People make me irritated when they feed us bull about "amnesty". The thing that people need to realise is that immigration is more then an economic issue (we need to cut the crap about whether or not this hurts us economically). Above all else, it's a national security issue. People come over here, commit ID theft, rape and sell drugs...and commit many many crimes. The government FINALLY did a statistic of the crime that takes place in America and the numbers were sky rocketing for illegals. We have enough crime takeing place amongst the citizens, we shouldn't have to deal with people who shouldn't be here. Not to mention, right now, jobs are hurting. And how many company's participate in hiring illegal s. We need to reserve those jobs for people who belong here...whether they were born here or took the proper steps of becoming legal.
We need to take it more seriously...that's all. Tighten the borders and not be afraid to shoot whoever invades. I mean it. But also, I think we need to find a better way of dealing with refugees. Because they hop the border all the time (from places like Guatemala). I have more sympathy for those who seek refuge rather then money or just a "better life from poverty". The people who suffer economically can wait till they are allowed to come in here. So for the refugees, we need to help them a bit faster. Everyone else, I have no problem with them coming here. As long as they do it just as the Irish, the Asians, the Germans and everyone else has.

Prosecute employers who hire illegals, take away the free health care they get for all the children they birth in the US, insist that a LEGAL immigrant must learn english ( I work construction, which is a dangerous job, and I can't communicate with them), and finally, enforce the rules already set up. We have laws in place, but they are overlooked. People are coming in here illegally, and taking american jobs, evading taxes, bringing crime, and are a drain to our economy. If you need more I have it!

My list is very long and complex. However, my focus would be on three things: (1) Securing the border through whatever means are most effective, (2) performing a background check to the extent possible on all illegal aliens that come forward for potential legal status, (3) granting conditional legal status to all illegal aliens that pass the background check, and (4) provide ways for more foreign nationals to enter the United States and contribute to our economy. This will decrease demand for illegal entry and ensure we continue to have laborers willing to work for lesser wages than many Americans would accept but more than they could make in their home country. Lastly, the long wait and nonrefundable fees, in addition to conditions difficult to overcome for many foreign nationals to gain entry, can be modified in this last focus.

Simple just enforce them if our government would do this then we would have the problems with illegals like we do.No jobs for them ,no welfare,and deport them ASAP.Damn our spineless politicians.What a bunch of losers maybe we should deport them too.
