Whats the easiest way to get a USA visa for someone from the UK?

my bf and i have been together for over 2 years. and i have read online the easiest way to stay together would be to get married. but i dont want to rush a wedding just to stay together. He is from the UK and i am from the USA. we have stayed together through the regular visas allowed but we (both) want to start working so we can start a life together. i would be willing to move there as well but we are just trying to find the easiest/cheapest way to stay together!

Other than marriage or w work visa, there is very little hope of him immigrating here.
However, having said that, I will enlighten you somewhat. The UK is light years ahead of America in a lot of ways, just one being that the UK will issue immigrant visa's for "unmarried partners." Meaning the UK does not believe that in order to have a serious relationship and commitment with someone you have to be married. Unmarried people in serious relationships have the right to be with their loved ones without having to get married.
In your situation, if the 2 of you are not ready to get married, but still wish to stay together, you should immigrate to the UK. You will need a lot of prof of your relationship, letters, emails, phone records, plane trips, vacations back and forth, pictures etc etc. Which you would need even if you got married and went for spousal visa in either direction.

Unless he has a college degree with 2 years of work experience that's directly related to the degree. In that can he can look for an employer willing to sponsor him for an H1B work visa (the job must be related to his degree and experience in the UK).

Contact the British embassy in the USA or an American embassy in Britain. They are responsible for distributing visas. Check out their website.
My guess is that he would have to get a job secured or enroll in school here first. They don't just give visas to anyone. |
