The Government maintain foolishly that Immigrants contribute to the economy.Most likely some of the MPs have their fingers in the pots where these people spend money.But if that is not so then they are legally bound by the EEC to accept people from other member states.Because Britain has the reputation of being a soft touch they all make for here.The whole situation is chaotic and you have every right to be concerned.It is not a question of being Racists which really most people are not.We are genuinly concerned what lies in the future for our kids and their kids.Carry out your own assesment of the situation walk down a road and count the houses then count the people on that road,you may find that the people are 10 times greater than the actual accomadation.This is because houses made to hold say 6 people now have up to 30 living their.The saviour buys the house and lets off every available space to his brothers at say £30 per week incl the bathroom Yes I am not kidding I know of it.Meaning that the Landlord gets a fantastic return on his investment.Try the sme thing at your house and see what happens with the Local Council.Hope that helps you in understanding a little of Why. |

We joined the EU, that gives freedom of movement within the EU. Of course the UK is going to be flooded by immigrants legal and otherwise, they all want a better life, and they feel they will get that in England.
Especially as we have a free social benefits system, that people like to take advantage of. And most social services including the Police are unable to cope with the massive influx we have seen in our country |

Cheap Labour - it enables the businessmen to minimise outgoings.
For example, my partner is a van driver and wants to retrain and do his HGV licence but his company won't pay for him to do it as there are so many immigrants with HGV licences coming in that its cheaper to just hire one of them. As a result my partner stays on minimum wage and the company don't have to pay him anymore or pay for his training. And he knows that he could lose his job very easily and be replaced by a Pole or a Czech so he does not dare to ask for a raise or anything.
These businessmen then have plenty of spare cash with which to make their shareholders wealthy and bung backhanders to the Government.
Also lots of immigrants = lots of demand for housing. As there is not enough social housing to go round (again, thanks to the government), the people who need housing have to turn to private, buy to let businessman landlords and make these people richer. See above.
Its all about lining the pockets of the rich whilst keeping the poor in their place. |

to try and bump up the economy, flood the place with immigrants make them pay tax. increase production keep overheads low all the while locals who are out of work stop their dole and make then work in Mc donalds or gut chickens for minimum wage. unskilled native labour my hole, one of the best brickies i worked with was english what the hell was he doing over here in ireland when the british government should pay him to train up british locals. a waste of a natural resource, skilled british tradesmen having to look elsewhere for work. |

I do not think there is one particular reason but a combination of reasons. I think its way of intergrating us with Europe, I think its a way of keeping down the white British the more diluted we are with foreign citizens living legally here and able to vote the less likely the English are to rebel because we will eventually be in the minority by the looks of things. Its also to bolster the economy with lots of affordable labour but at the same time keep us natives on low wages so our exporting is able to keep up with the devolping nations. I think there a lots of reasons and not all of them good for us who are actually from here.
The polish are doing the work at half the price and sending the money home a lot the time so its not even been spent here. It is only a short term fix.Skilled tradesman and the like cannot compete as they have large mortgages as families to keep HERE. The polish are living twenty to a house thus managing to keep their living expeneses low. |

An interesting question, I have the feeling the government has allow this to happen due to the fact that these immigrants will work for next to nothing, this in turn keeps the wage bill low for the government, which then stops the ordinary Brit from asking for huge pay rises. They say the Brits don't want to do the jobs these immigrants do, but this isn't true, pay a good wage for any job and the Brits will do it, but again it comes down to keeping inflation under control and the relatively small amount the government pays out in social security payments only benefits the government overall and they have no concern for the true British voter and how their life's are affected by the huge amount of people who are coming here. |
