i completely agree with yhou :) there should go bk to their own country, they come to our country and expect us to live by their rules, if we went to their country we would get killed for not following their rules, they build mosqes here what would happen if we built a church in their country? its ridicolas, they are taking over OUR country and they government wont do nothing about it they just leave them all come in, soon there wont be no britions here

I don't think you are racist - just a patriot, and what's wrong with that. I wouldn't agree that no foreigners should be here - I just don't want the radicals here - if they don't like this country (which clearly they don't) I'd happily show them the way to the airport.

You can contrive ways to suggest their NOT being in Britain causes them harm. One would wonder what the responsibility of a country is to make another country safe for its people. It doesn't wash.

Racism is fine. It is practiced extensively here in the United States by some Hispanic Groups and some groups of African Americans. If you don't jeopardize the potential for earnings of fellow countrymen, do it your way.

Even more importantly, if you wander around the Military Graveyards of the British, you discover a lot of citizens paid everything for their country, and if the citizens want their country a particular way, it doesn't have anything at all to do with racism. And in fact, that is as it should be.... as the owners want it to be.

I understand where your coming from, but disagree slightly.

I have no problems with immigrants who want a better life and come here become Canadian.

I do have a problem when people come here, get on welfare for themselves and 3 wives and sit there and say horrible our way of life is, and try implementing laws (like sharia) from their country here.

Why move somwhere supposedly for a better life, if your just going to try and turn it to be like where you came from??

Nothing - it's a valid point of view.

I always thought this was a free country where you could hold any point of view - seems like that only works for some of the people some of the time though these days.

That's unfortunate.
Here, in the US, the Constiotution protects our legal right to say almost anything unless it will cause injury to others such as yelling Fire in a theater.
I think the definition of racist is what's in question here.
I see nothing wrong with wanting to protect and maintain your country's traditions, etc.
We have the same problem with Hispanics who sneak across our border and want to live here as if they were citizens. They often do not know, nor are they willing to learn, English. They drive cars without having drivers licenses or insurance. They send their kids to our schools where their inability to speak the language slows everything down and prevents other children from progressing normally.
They put a huge burden on our already overstressed healthcare system.
Yet, to some, even mentioning these truths makes me a racist.
If that's so then that makes my daughter-in-law a racist too, even though she was born in Cuba and came here as a child legally and is a US citizen. She agrees with my viewpoint so I guess she is a hispanic racist.
It is too bad when loving your country and its traditions makes you a racist.

Do you even know any immigrants? I do and all they want is a better life for their families! I bet if you came from a country that was at war all the time or suffered from famine you would do exactly the same thing!

This country is not just for white people. Also anybody who is born here no matter where there parents are from are British and have just as much right to be here as you! People can also attain British citizenship which again gives them as much right to be here as you.

The royal family aren't fully from the UK originally do they not have as much right to be here either?
