There is NO reason worth mentioning that is a good enough reason to allow illegal aliens to enter or stay in the USA.

They are criminals and so are those who condone their criminal activity.

That makes many in our Congress CRIMINALS.

There is nothing to debate, the law is the law.

ILLEGAL ALIENS are CRIMINALS.

5 years in prison for anyone employing illegal aliens is my recommendation.... plus a huge fine.

Using a false or stolen social security # is a crime. CRIMINALS should NOT profit from their CRIMES, especially illegal aliens who are ALL CRIMINALS.

We will ALL have to pay extra tax for them ... the antis included ... our budget deficit is too high as it is, the government are even keeping two sets of records, one for public consumption and one which contains the real deficit ... scary reading let me tell you .... more and more illegal immigrants will mean higher and higher taxes for all of us .... there is no getting out of that one I'm afraid ... :(

As soon as I get a refund check for that portion of my taxes that have been used over my working lifetime to pay for free public education (for citizens and non-citizens alike), since I did not have any children myself!

...and from what I am seeing here, my tax dollars have been sorely wasted at that...

How about when you pay the extra costs for those employers hiring illegal aliens to clean the Wal-Marts, pick the fruit, make the beds, nanny the children at wages below what you'd pay if you could get Americans to do those jobs.

Before you dismiss the answer, if Wal-Mart was paying a prevailing wage, do you think they'd charge what they do? "Regular" people benefit from lower prices (or in the case of farmwork, having food in the marketplace) and/or the dividends paid by the corporations profiting off of the labor of illegals.

Hey, I don't think illegal aliens should be here and oppose amnesty, but to simply write these people off as being total drains on our society is simplistic.

My property taxes just keep going higher and higher, yet I see the local school districts building high schools that look more like upscale shopping malls! Where is this govt responsibility? Its spending money like a kid in a candy store....give me a break, the govt is to blame, for allowing it!

Oklatom,I live on the border and trust me, the vast majority get over here, why do you think we have a problem in the first place? I go downtown and see illegals lined up ready to be picked up by local farmers and contractors for work, EVERYDAY.....hmmmm, you don't think the border patrol is not aware of these people? And yes, the border patrol focuses on the border, but we need more agents....The ones we have do a wonderful job, but there isnt enough of them....

First, it's anger, not angry. The government is patrolling, and is not looking the other way, and you're saying it is and does doesn't make it true. Why do you think it costs so much now to the coyote?

Some are still getting in, but lots are being caught and turned back. The National Guard is watching some areas, and the fence might become reality soon.

Please don't talk when it's so obvious you haven't done one iota of research on the subject.

Every time you drink a glass of wine, eat a grape, bite into an apple, think about the immigrant working in the blistering sun. Remember, this individual stole this position from you because he didn't demand benefits, cigarette breaks, a lunch hour, or ask to be treated like a human being.

You want it all. You complain because they take jobs, jobs you find demeaning. You want the produce but you don't want to see the people who harvested it shopping in your stores. You want workers but you don't want them healthy and you don't want to pay them enough to finance their own health expenditures. What on God's green earth is wrong with you?
