Homeland Security is shaking 80 year old citizens down at airports for their nailfiles while a government sponsored invasion of undocumented illegals is streaming tens of thousands of ___whoevers -- into the country wholesale --- makes sense to anyone ?? And, if black ops personnel from the "terrorist" camp were to want undocumented entry into the country -- where better to enter ??
I was particularly amused at the posters herein who commented about would be "terrorists" that are native born !! At the VERY least -- these "whoevers" would be on the books and some history would be on record FOR them and they would be considerably easier to locate and track -- would they not ?? And, if there WERE such people --- what in that (somewhat questionable "factoid") would warrant the wholesale "letting down our guard" on the borders of our country ??
The PRIMARY REASON that there are as many illegals in this country as there are --- is that the government themselves have been supporting and facilitating this illegal invasion --- and that is exactly what it is ---- an invasion by foreign nationals !!!! So, our government is telling us on one hand that they are guarding us against "all threats foreign and domestic" while all the time FACILITATING AN INVASION OF FOREIGN NATIONALS !!!!!!!!! GO FIGURE !!! |

Well if there are some terrorists in amongst those illegals isn't your government doing a great job of protecting you people. I mean if just one percent of the 15 million were terrorists that is a great job the government is doing. Great job. Yeh. Only that is exactly what the government wants you to believe. That the threat is imminent. The threat is real. That is how they get away with everything they have since 9/11. They get you to a point where you daren't question it incase it is real and you are blamed for not believing when another attack does occur. Blamed for being "UnAmerican". Now what kind of a word is that anyway? |

I certainly do. Didn't the guys from 9-11 get their flight lessons from the US also? You may get rude comments because some people may think you are attacking their right to be in the US. There is a difference in becoming a citizen, and sneaking over here though. Good point to address. |

Some have committed violent crimes. But some cities have a sanctuary policies where they will not ask someone's status. Not only is it dangerous for us, legal citizens, to have illegal immigrants in the US but it is dangerous for illegal immigrants. Many illegals are victims of violent crimes but are afraid to report it in fear that they will deported. We need crack down on illegals for our and their protection.

There are more than 15 million illegal immigrants, and not all of them are from Mexico. They are Chinese, Russian, Cuban, and from all of Latin America. They are not here to terrorize they are here to work because they have very limited opportunities to work in their native countries.
Your argument makes sense if we take into consideration that history shows us even our own could be terrorists, rememeber Timothy McVeigh, Richard Girnt Butler, Samuel Bowers, Harry Shapiro and lets not forget Theodore Kaczynski. Terrorism and treason are a big problem in America but lets not spread hate by making irresponsible comments about a group of immigrants that are going through enough streotyping, racism and xenophobia already. |

I still don't buy that 15 million number. There's only 300 million people in the entire country. Are they really suggesting that 1 out of every 20 is here illegally? That's an unrealistically high percentage, and higher than the population of several states. Besides, if someone hand counted all these supposed illegal immigrants, why weren't they deported at the time they were identified? The whole things stinks like red herring to me. |

Thats probaly true but lets not forget that jonathan walker lindh, Jose padilla and adam gadahn are all american born and raised. We need to focus on our own countrymen just as much as illegalls. Close the borders and check everyone. If you have nothing to hide, It shouldnt be a problem. Thats my two cents. |
