When will Americans learn to speak either English OR Spanish?

I do agree that many of our American citizens need to learn the English language so i can at least understand them. It's amazing that we speak the same language but some people still need a lot of work.

I was at a store one day and a person ask me "you finna do that?" I had no clue what he was talking about. "finna?"

At a park these people started speaking Spanish to me as if I was fluent, I used to be but i spoke to them in English, they did understand me. But I also spoke Spanish to them, they understood me as well.

I don't think everyone should learn Spanish. English, yes. But I think people should learn another language besides English.

You are very mistaken when you say white America.........outside of California, perfect English is spoken.

Get your facts straight.
As far as speaking spanish, if I ever move to spain, or mexico then I will learn to speak Spanish, until then English is the language of choice, learn it, or move on and leave.

ps: learn to spell check.....cant should be can't....thye should be they.....imigrants should be immigrants....

Weil gosh dern.....I can speak English....even Kings proper English and I have perfect pronunciation and enunciation.

I can understand proper English.....problem is we have teachers here from SPAIN and guess what? The latino kids have no clue what they are saying. Seems Mexican Spanish is as muddled as American. Now what?

I agree, alot of Americans can't speak English right themselves, but wonder why some of the illegals can't speak it! If they were smart, they should be wondering why they can't speak it correctly, and their Americans!

I can only speak English and I am trying to learn Hungarian.I would prefer to learn French, it sounds the best to my ears.
Since I
will not ever be using French, I will have to wait on learning it.
There are uneducated people everywhere,I am sure that in Mexico there are people who don't speak with the proper grammer.It is like that too here in Hungary.Some of the country people don't use the right words and have a funny heavy accent.It happens everywhere.
