Ok.I have 2 points to make.
Illegals are not the sole reason for hospitals closing.There are plenty of citizens that abuse hospitals.And I would guess that the MAJORITY that abuse ARE citizens.
Secondly.
I'm sure there's another hospital near by.

But to answer........I imagine hospitals everywhere are feeling the crunch of the "uninsured"......some hospitals are in areas that get the majority of those......that is something I personally can do nothing about. Something to look into don't you think....a way to make healthcare available to ALL.......good idea.

Your dilemma is real. We are legal white natural-born citizens earning over $60,000 a year who can't afford health insurance ( neither of our companies offer it ), because of free medicine. Hope none of us gets sick or breaks an arm ... we'd lose one of our cars to pay the bills.

What you speak of is well documented and true. Another prime example of taking advantage of our system. Please note, that being pregnant on the side of the border over Mexico, delivery is an emergency, and they (or an American ambulance) has authority not to stop at the check point and go right to the hospital...to deliver another anchor baby!

What? Not you too, blaming illegals for everything! Go ask your hospitals to stay open, it's not due to illegals it's because your not in the fields picking fruits and vegetable and getting sick. Maybe you should do that so they can help you and since illegals are getting free healthcare, say you are one too. If that is what you think is going on or write to your senate and ask what is going on?!

It is and has happened. Many benefits will be cut short. Because people refuse to face fact. In a dire emergency now (like bird flu) if America needed a lot of hospital care---many many would not get it. Doctors have predicted this. (check web-I am sick of doing people homework). Not only our Schools are in trouble but so is our Medical--they can't handle the mass flow. And our State programs are in sadder shape.

The only answer is closed the doors--and let the nation recover. So cover your ears and eyes if you don't want to see or hear that. Or deny fact.
