You are so clueless it isn't worth replying.
But at least I can say one positive thing about your question. Both conservatives (like me) and liberals will agree that you are a dope.
See? We can all agree sometimes. |

And where did the founder immigrate from?
America is a combination of blacks, hispanics, french, dutch, brittish, scottish, swede, irish, etc...
Hell, the 1st American casuality in the revolutionary war was a free black man. |

To me, you are an immigrant. The fact that you are breathing on the continent that my people lived for thousands of years, supports the "nation of immigrants" idea. |

The United States is full of people that have immigrated here.
The problem now is that there are those that are not immigrants but are law breakers that ignore immigration law and the borders of our country.
It has nothing to do with "white" or any other color. |

Everyone here came from somewhere else or their ancestors did.....all are immigrants or descendents of immigrants.
The only exceptions are the indigenous people who were here when the first invaders came. |

I am no immigrant. America has been AMERICA for the last 230 years. Since I was born (and raised) in America, and I'm MUCH younger than 230 years old, I can't possibly be an immigrant. I never lived anywhere else!!

We are a nation of immigrants, a few million of them illegal... nonetheless, the Constitution does not single out a certain race to apply its' provisions for. If the founding fathers "vision" was to perpetuate the rule of white men, why didn't they write it into the Constitution? Also, why was the 13th Amendment passed? We welcome those who seek citizenship legally, but remember it is a privelage and not a right. You are welcome to bring your traditions with you, but this is not Mexico. |

I highly recommend you buy an American History book. One very simple to read and not so expensive is the "American History: A Survey" by Alan Brinkley. This book has two volumes and very entertaining to learn from. Believe me, this book is not boring at all.

Your comment is just to antagonize. Anglo-Saxon (because the British and Irish love each other, just ask the IRA) and white?? White covers the entirety of Europe from The Anglos to the Slavic people of the eastern block nations who are more orthodox than protestant. The founders' vision was no taxes because we Americans loves the money. Hooray money!! Boo bigotry!! Bigotry does not make more money. |

Yes, this nation was founded by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants...who enslaved the blacks, stole land from the Mexicans, and commited genocidal acts against the Native Americans. Was that the "Founder's Vision"? If that's what the USA is about, I say let it become Mexico. |

The USA was founded by descendants of immigrants from
England mostly. Believe it or not, there was a time when the
white Anglo-Saxons were immigrants. The only people here were the Native American Indians. In the early part of the last century the gates were opened up to immigrants from everywhere because there weren't enough americans to settle the west. It was a wide open, wild territory that had tons and tons of natural resources but not enough people to exploit them. The "founders" did have an inkling of the vastness of this country after the Lewis and Clark Expedition. |

Hmm. Have you picked up a history book lately? When you do answer these questions:
Who were the very first settlers here? (trust me it was not the Europeans)
Who was brought here, against their will, to become slaves?
Who was runned off by US goverment for land? (Hint: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona & California)
Who came here to run away from horrible dictatorship from Europe? (see how I was not being specific there?)
Do you think maybe, just maybe it's still going on? America although having a horrible President is still the melting pot of the world. That's why people come here. |

The United States is called a "Nation of Immigrants" because when this nation was founded it's doors were open to anyone who were looking for a new way of life. This nation is a "melting pot". Some of the people who came here made great contributions that many of us use today. The only reason we have a problem with Immigration today is because we no longer have thr room or resource to care for the people who want to come here and start a new way of life. |

While the nation was founded by WASP's, it is the immigrants that actually built the country. Also try to remember that even the WASP's were immigrants, this land already had people who lived here. |

MEXICAN AMERICAN

White supremacist groups tend to seek members among low-income whites, especially those who have been most deeply affected by deindustrialization and other forms of economic dislocation, channeling their anger and frustration over their own condition toward a clear target — people of color.
Some of the more sophisticated anti-immigrant groups, meanwhile, have tried to reach out to African Americans and other U.S.-born communities of color by including them among the “natives” who are threatened by immigration. While such groups may disavow the overtly racist rhetoric of hate groups, they nonetheless advance the same type of arguments in more “respectable” language. For example, according to the SPLC, the mainstream anti-immigrant group Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), which claims 70,000 members, has worked collaboratively with white supremacist hate groups. Conservative politicians like Patrick Buchanan, meanwhile, combine populist rhetoric on economic issues with racist, anti-immigrant, and anti-Semitic ideology.
The overt racism of hate groups and the more subtle bigotry of mainstream anti-immigrant organizations both serve to divide people who might otherwise find common ground in social struggles for justice. While they may attract followers with the power of their rhetoric, such anti-immigrant movements do nothing to address the root causes of suffering — the economic, social, and political structures that maintain an unjust and increasingly unequal distribution of wealth, power, and privilege. Instead, they substitute a lethal combination of resentment, scapegoating, and hatred — the classic recipe for fascism. |

Aside from the obvious fact that those WASP founders were themselves immigrants, it's not the founders who "make" a nation, it's everyone. And as for everyone else ruining their vision, well, now you know how the Indians felt when the WASPs landed. But don't worry - you can always go back to your ancestral homeland if you don't like it. |

They got the idea because all the Anglo Saxon Protestants immigrated here. There are no native people to the land that is now known as the USA. Even the Native Americans had immigrated here from other places. So the only reason civilization in the USA is the way it is is because some of the immigrants took over all the other ones. |
