I only approve of LEGAL immigration. Illegal immigration is a way of flipping America the bird and not giving a damn about our laws or justice.

legal or illegal, it doesn't bother me. People have difference reasons for wanting to be Americans and coming to America. We shouldn't deny them. I mean, we should have certain policies and such so as to not let the issue get out of control.

For regulated immigration, against opening the borders for any person from any country. This country was founded by immigrants, but that does not mean we should not control the inflow now becuase there are too many out there wanting to harm in these lands. The argument stands that there are those being denied that only want to come in to work and help etc and that those wishing to do harm are still getting in, that is true, but also if we just say forget it all and swing the door wide open, then more drugs, terrorists, criminals will come in. The hope is that the way things are done can be fixed so that those wishing to contribute, work and better themselves can come in while still keeping the criminals out.

The problem of illegal immigration stems mostly from the fact that Mexico has conveniently decided to use the U.S. as its dump for those Mexicans it rejects as -in the words of a cynical Mexican politician- "social refuse", and then uses them not only to generate national revenue from remittances, but also to attempt to cause menacing disruptions in the American fabric. (Mexican president Vicente Fox has publicly boasted â€œ...I am the President of 100 million Mexicans in Mexico and 20 millions Mexicans in the U.S.â€. Then Mexico uses LULAC, La Raza, MEChA, the Mexica Movement and other racist and irredentist entities operating within the Chicano community to in effect control those of Mexican descent in the U.S.) Furthermore the main problem of Mexico is that it wasted 71 years under the boot of the infamous PRI (Partido Revolucionario Institucional) flirting with socialistoid policies, in part to blackmail the U.S. during the Cold War with the threat of supporting the Soviet Union if not left alone looting the country, and in part to co-opt its own arch-corrupt Left and cover up for the endemic, pervasive and intense corruption at all levels of government -which is practically an apparatus of systemic venality and peculation gone wild- and society in general -which is practically a kleptocracy where every body cheats, and steals from, everybody. (When paying for something in Mexico, always watch for your change!)

My grandson is mexican and I still say if they are illegal send them home. It's the law. I have a son in the pen for theft. He is not rewarded for it, he is paying for it. If you commit a crime(which illegals are doing) then you should have to pay. Send them home.

Is it fair?I'mGermanI can go nearly any where in the World if I like it.My Wife is Moroccan,she even need a Visa for Germany.
My 1 Niece is born in Santa Barbara/CA she can go and life where she wont.My 2.Niece is Moroccan she can only life whit us by a student visa...
I wont change the Laws,how ever can life who ever(because he/she found a job there etc.can do so.socialwellfare only in the home country.

For it. All of my ancestors immegrated here or were born here. I am cherokee, german, irish and stuff. For america to shut her borders down would go against everyhing america was founded on.
as far as Mexicans go, I have worked in restaurants all of my life and the hardest working people are the Mexicans. They dont shy from the heat or the sun. And most of their family still lives in Mexico. They come here to work to feed their families. I cant hate them for trying to make sure their babies eat and their families are taken care of. If you ask me, its discrimination on our part toward them. Do you not look in your childrens eyes and thank God every day that they are healthy and happy? Immigrants want the same for their families, and perform great sacrifices to get it. Dont be judgemental. They just want to see their children grow up too and want the best for their families. Thank God we werent born in the other countries, fighting to make sure we dont live in cardboard boxes and have to watch our children die from malnutrition.,

For immigration. Against illegal immigration. The law is the law is the law. Order must be maintained. Respect for the rule of law is the cog that keeps democracy working and running. Tyranny is best defined when a government decides selectivly which laws to enforce.

I don't know. Some things the anti's say piss me off and some things the pros say piss me off. I think I'm just pissed off. pissed that this is happening in the first place. But if it came down to it America just needs to do what ever is best for the economy. Whatever that may be.

Whether you come in this country legally or illegally, if you keep your peace and don't bother others, I see no reason why we should bother them. My parents and older siblings came here illegally, but my mother worked hard to take care of me and her children in Mexico. She was diabetic but preferred to use her money to take care of us. After she passed when I was 8, my oldest sister raised me, she being still illegal. Now, after many years, she is a citizen and she's working on legalizing my other older siblings. By the way, I myself am an American citizen born here.

The one thing I can stand, and this goes to all those born here, in Mexico, or in any other country, is people that like attention, like those saying California, or Texas, is still Mexico, it was stolen by the US, and other bull*** like that. Get over it. Whatever happened in the past happened; it's history. Make this a better country than it already is.

I am against anybody who illegally enters this country, and I think it's a good idea that President Bush put the National Guard on the border to help the Border Patrol, but why don't we use the entire National Guard to protect our homeland. Think about it, NATIONAL GUARD, doesn't that sound like they should be allowed to do what their name implies, guard our nation, rather than the Department of Homeland Security, which I believe is a waste of tax dollars.

As far as undocumented workers, I am on the pro amnesty side....I believe most undocumented workers are only here for work....For those who have been here and have familes here, they should be registered with the govt and allowed to stay, provided they are not on public assistance....

For those who have committed felonies, they should go to jail or be sent back to Mexico, or where ever they came from....Remember, not all laws are moral, for me it is a moral issue....Was slavery moral? No, but it was legal right?
