Canada is big huge Ultra cold freezer in Winter, with a big fan inside the freezer. But life is not bad, cost of living is not extra ordinarily high, you can find a petty job but finding a decent job can be a problem, particularly as a student it will be. I've lived in Canada for almost three years, so over all I'd say its a nice place to live if u can bear the winter temperatures of -40C. In summer it can rise as high as 35 C (depending upon where in Canada it can be quite humid too), but summer is not very long in Canada.
I have never been to Australia, but have heard a lot of good stories. Others may be able to help u better for ur query about Australia. |

By the way, its a huge country and the climate varies according to time of year and location....God, Toronto's like 40 degrees celcius in the summer! -sorry just tired of people's ideas that canadians live in igloos and it snows all year!!!!!!!!! |

Canada is beautiful, but it snows.
This comment coming from a person that never lived where it snows and thinks it would be a problem.
