Canada because it's based on a points system. ireland's economy is in a nosedive at the moment and the job situation is awful - it's not a good time to immigrate. I can't imagine any Irish employer would be able to sponsor someone from outside the EU for a job unless they had some very specialised job skills

Wow you are really desparate to get out of the US! I have an idea for you. Study something in healthcare....nursing, diagnostic radiography, pharmacy, medicine.... and then you can go anywhere. Canada, Ireland or even Australia. Jobs always come up in healthcare and every country wants you. They will accelerate your immigration, reduce the number of points you need.....make it easy for you. If you can put up with a healthcare course, it will be your passport to the world.

I'm amazed that you want to leave the USA. Most Americans love telling everyone how great it is there. I also forgot that Canada to some of them is a socialist country lol Is Ireland a socialist country? just looked it up in WikiAnswers and it says it not
