That's a very good point, angel, the global population count is at 6.6 billion, I guess people have no other hobbies...at any rate, about the time it hits say, 8 or 9 billion, some forecast as early as 2025, it's gonna get UGLY. It already IS ugly, in some parts of the world, but we don't see a lot of it on TV news. 'happy news for happy people' has been the networks' by-line for years, one BS story after another, 'globaliziation' has meant an ever-increasingly fragile interdependence that's been evidenced to have Serious Problems that curiously never quite got mentioned when they were presenting all these great policies. MY feeling is, if we're going to help other countries, it should be through building schools ONLY. Teach people how to learn, and how to solve their own problems, and recognize also that other countries aren't exclusively populated by idiots, or necessarily by people that have our best interests in mind either. Nor, for that matter, do our own 'representatives' have such best interests in mind, some of these people only look at us as numbers, pretty insignificant, unworthy of consideration, nor do our views matter to them a whole lot unless we've got a truckload of money to 'donate'. Payola politics is part of the way of the world, though, and it's like with the old duchy, I guess, you don't get an audience with the 'duke' until you've 'contributed' enough money or something.

It wouldn't be so terrible, simply because it'd piss off the KKK white supremist crack-smokers. They deserve to be angered more than anyone else, because they are blatantly ignorant that every religion speaks peace in one way or another. Except satanism of course. I personally would not mind the exposure to other cultures, as it would be an enlightening experience. Also, you probably mean illegal immigrants, which can definitely be bad if they ran from the law in their country. Also, there is only a problem when it is criminal illegals which do come across, although in much smaller numbers than non-criminals. I personally don't care that they come over as long as they actually work for a living and give something back to the community for their avoidance of tax.

The answer would be speculation. The fact is, that 12 million illegal immigrants is too many. I believe that we, as a nation need to be wise about how we resolve this problem.
Step1. Control borders. We need to know who comes and who
goes. It does not mean close immigration, just common
sense
Step2. Decide what to do with the 12 million people who work and
live in this country illegally. Remember, We let them
come and provided jobs for them. Our politicians have
look the other way for 4 decades. We are responsible for
this mess.
Finally, what ever we do in step 2, we need to remember that we are dealing with human beings. Massive deportation would be splitting families (some of this illegals do have kids who are citizens). And remember, we are responsible for allowing this mess to happen. The answer is probably somewhere between the extreme liberals and the extreme right wing proposals. I do not have a fair and just answer yet.

I agree with you. We need to have a sensible immigration policy which allows a certain level of immigration and no more. If you are caught here illegally you should should be deported and denied legal immigration permanently. Give the illegals 30 days to get the hell out and then start rounding them up.

We need a zero-tolerance policy.

Stop all immigration, no matter what color or religion now.
Also we must build a fence along the Mexican Border or give Israel the contract to build one for us just like the one they have built in Palestine.
This fence will help us to only allow labor to crossover during fruit picking season. Laborers will be counted, accounted and then sweetly returned to Mexico.

I agree that Anglo's will someday no longer be the majority in America however, I disagree that it'll be illegals who take the lead. Immigrants are becoming legalized and naturalized citizens and it'll be this group that's in the forefront. It's the ever changing face of America.
