No ones perfect. When we got here, we had a disadvantage, we were slaves. When slavery was emancipated, we had a disadvantage, we were black, no one wanted us to succeed in raising our families and being in the middle class. We still have a disadvantage, the majority of us live in underprivileged neighbors. This is most likey because of all of our disadvantages in the past.
But the thing is, crime has to do more with economics. Poor people are more likely to commit crime than middle class or upper class; even if their white, black, hispanic, middle eastern, indian, etc.

If you got rid of all the black people, then another race would take over our statitics. And then you'd get rid of them. If you kept doing this until you were left with just whites, then eventually your own people would take over our statistics. What would you do then, start getting ride of white brown eyed people, and then white blue eyed, etc, until no one was left? Not everyone can be rich. The world doesn't work like that.

Your argument faces a logical fallacy: Your data is that Prison Rates among blacks are roughly 25 times higher than whites, yet you claim that Crime Rates are higher. That may be true, but it is not necessarily supported by your data, you made a baseless inference. It may be that more blacks are caught, or that more blacks when caught are convicted. I'm not saying the crime rates are higher or lower than you allege, I'm just saying there are other explanations you do not investigate or address. .

Bunt, if people legally here, citizens, whom we can't deport, commit crime, we are stuck with it. Keeping a policy that allows in a population sized at 4 to 5% of our population and 25 to 30% of our prison population is just stupid, whatever other crime we are stuck with already. And besides, illegal immigrants are not all hispanic. It is illegals, not hispanics that we are discussing.

.OK. If this is a sideways attempt at making a racist statement, which I believe it is, than let me point out that it is an old argument. Yes, the prisons are filled disproportionately with blacks. It has been that way for the better part of the last century to now. In the early 1900's 80% of New Yorkers had police records, and most of them were white but fewer people were sent to prison. 30 Years ago I had a Sociology professor who, when we were discussing this same subject, pointed out that jails aren't filled with all the criminals, just the ones who got caught. I could be that blacks are just worse at avoiding the police.
Yes, there is an inordinately high rate of crime and violence in Black neighborhoods. Poor Black neighborhoods. New Orleans was a terror show. I agree with Presidents Bush's recent statements that the destruction of New Orleans brought out a problem of deep seated poverty still in our nation. There should be no poverty in our country.
OH, by the way, I am NOT a Liberal! I'm a Conservative Republican. However, I believe that these types of arguments do nothing to improve situations, only attempt to brush them away with stupidity. You did some research, do some more.

I believe that there's illegal aliens in these gangs too, skin color matters a lot less than the basic concept of 'by their deeds ye shall know them', and if a person, regardless of ethnicity or nationality, decides to start trying to 'own' our streets, that's the time that the general citizenry need to reclaim the streets from such thugs by banding together, invoking the law and law enforcement, and banishing such people from their communities. Stands to reason, and it's only fair, don't you think?
Do you want to live next door to a crack dealer? I don't. Matter of fact, I'd rather not see ANY gangs in our country, period, black, white, latino, asian, martian, nor otherwise. This is the 21st century, time to stop hunting in packs, and find jobs. The future is now, participate, or get left behind...I have met intelligent, civil, professional people of just about every ethnic makeup there is, and I've met people also from most ethnicities that I would not want to encounter in a dark alley or anywhere else for that matter.

I believe that law enforcement (cops) do they look after us and still there is no one there when you really need one, then when they show up they cant do nothing about it because they did not see anything and the other party is gone... do you really think they turn in all the stuff they confiscate? Your point is to point fingers at the blacks, it seems to me. A CRIME IS A CRIME no matter who commits it. Whoever commits a crime should be punished. That's all the American people should be concerned about. You are one reason why there is still racism going on. You want us all to agree with you that blacks commit more crimes? Why? Just point a finger at the one who commits the crime, and leave race out of it. Who cares about the statistics. Instead of rating the amount of crimes each race commits, they should be more worried about lowering the crime rate no matter where it is or who commits it.

There is a reality - when one is a minority - you will either be above the norm when it comes to crime statistics or below - that's how it works. BTW American-Americans are a little over 11% of the national population.

The methods of racists are to create a hostile environment toward minorities, making it relatively impossible for them to get a fair shake - then persecute them for their perceived failing. This has been going on since the beginning of noticeable differences between humans. Seemingly a 'self-destruct' mechanism (one of many) instilled by God. No 'separatist' is better than anyone else - they're just separatists, and many (if not most) are RACIST BASED. God give us a choice on how to survive: kill the separatists, or learn to undo the separatism. There is no other way, as evidenced by historical and scientific observation.
