Who do you think would be tougher on illegal immigration, the Democrats or the Republicans?

more recently the republicans however both parties benefit and have benefited from illegal immigration. politicians need to be watched closely by citizen groups like NUMBERS USA to be reminded that the office they hold is to execute the will of the people they represent. of late it's working there are so many things happening with the removal of illegal immigrants, the fence is coming along nicely and according to those who live near where the fence is finished it's working, no more catch and release. border patrol is processing immediately and deporting which gives a person their first mark making the next illegal entry to the U.S. a felony with that the person is barred from ever being able to enter the U.S. legally. they're prosecuting employers and seizing assets earned for employing illegal immigrants. tons of random raids throughout the U.S. at stores, parks, work, homes even picked up a few at school and many are leaving on their own. many jurisdictions are training through homeland security so local law enforcement can screen the people they encounter to determine if the person is a citizen or in the country legally. they then detain them until ICE can deport them. the national news isn't reporting all that's happening I guess because it'll make them look foolish because they said it couldn't be done and if the public knew of the success we're having deporting illegal immigrants more would support the deportation of all illegal immigrants. constituents were right all we needed to do was enforce the laws we have on the books and the job can be done.

Without a doubt, the Republicans. Forget about all of the rhetoric. Actions speak louder than words. Look at the voting records and you will see that the Democrats overwhelmingly support Illegal Immigration and pandering to the Hispanic vote.

Two years ago the Republican controlled House passed the "enforcement only" bill, HR 4437. 92% of Republicans voted for it and 82% of Democrats voted against it.

The Democrat controlled Senate would NOT pass that bill and instead came up with their "comprehensive" code word for AMMNESTY, plan. Democrat elites like Teddy Kennedy and Harry Reid called the American people Bigots and racists for not supporting their plan.

Bottom line, for two years nothing has been done and now the elites are saying they WON'T do anythin until after the election. Meanwhile thousands stream across our border every day, killing our BP agents and this DEMOCRAT controlled Congress sits by and does nothing.

Start reading between the lines. Do you see the La Raza types supporting the democrats or the republicans?

The house and the congress have both now have Dem majority, have you seen a difference.

I know longer see a two party system but one party that is controlled by big money. The American people have to gain control of their country again.

Almost certainly Republicans but to be honest I don't think they'd do too much more than Democrats. Too many industries that are big Republican donors rely on illegal immigrants to supply cheap labor, so I think they'll talk big (in order to sound like they're taking the problem seriously) but do relatively little.

Depends on who's elected. If John McCain is elected, brace yourself for amnesty. If Democrats are elected, brace yourself for legislation that makes all Mexicans legal American citizens. I guess now that I put it that way, Republicans will still be tougher even if McCain is president.

Candy paid for out of OUR pockets. All of us will be paying for the "New" citizens and their honking hordes of family and children for decades to come. It will radically change our world. Get ready, we are THAT close.

I DO beleive this man Ron Paul, a Rep., will remove the Illegals as he says he will. Ironically, he has been a cast out in the media and many find his solutions too extreme for America right now.

So, the long and short of it is ...America will no doubt get what it deserves come election day. Highly likely, we will be obligated to assume 20 M lawbreakers as new citizens and have to prepare ourselves to accept million upon million more as the open borders stay that way, at the hands of people that cater to the REAL presidents and representatives of America ...THE CORPORATIONS that are really running the show and determining our lives.

The local and state laws are being pushed through by Republicans.

When it comes to the federal government, I think you are most likely to find anti-amnesty people among the Republicans, but you are very likely to find pro-amnesty politicians in both parties in Washington.

No candy....lmao. The Dems are the only ones making empty promises of amnesty just for a vote. If they were going to get any more than they have with the Republicans...they would've gotten it already. Neither party is going to feel like a cake walk to the illegals...nobody is giving them amnesty...it's all a game of profit.
