Since all of you are complaining about how "those damn illegals won't learn english"
How about we get the Govt. to hand out free english class DVD'S?
Or atleast give them a reason to not have an excuse.
You have to understand these people have no money even to eat less to learn english(or time)
Because they have to work night and day in order to stay.

I realize that.
My mother was an illegal in the 1900's
but why can't we just make it IMPOSSIBLE for excuses so then we see who really DESERVES to be here.

then we'll give them cd players and houses to live in so they'll have places to listen to them. maybe the nat'l guard can distribute these things at the border as they run across, after all there down there with strict orders to stop illegal immigration without actually touching any illegals. |

It would be a waste. They can easliy turn on the TV and learn it. The hispanics are the only group of people who refuse to learn to speak English when they come here. Before I go to another country I have the respect to learn the basic language so I can communicate with the people. |

Thats funny cause all the illegals in my neighborhood drive nice cars, I cant park on my street there are so many cars I see them cashing big checks at the local grocerystore while paying for their groceries with food stamps. you live in a fantacy world grow up these people are here to work the system no a job. |

Why do we have to keep paying more and more for them when they broke our laws and ignored our limits to come here?

Let's talk fair! My neighbor is always fixing his car, he has some "bad" credit and can't afford a new one. On the other hand, he tells me that some of the Mexicans he works with that don't speak English are getting new cars.
He says they are not worried about defaulting on a loan because they used an undocumented name in the first place. |

Wow. This is just as bad as illegals asking us to speak Spanish. The answer to your question is NO. Illegals shouldn't even be here in the first place, so they obviously should not expect us to foot the bill for them to learn English. If they are going to move to our country legally, then great. They still need to assimilate, respect our culture, and learn to speak our language. |

ummmm, no, they are here ILLEGALLY so they should not be getting anything free except a free kick in the behind back to their home! Plus, if these poor folk cant afford to learn English but they have DVD players in their homes? If they wanted to learn English they would just like the many, many LEGAL immigrants that have come here over the years. We make it FAR TOO EASY for them to not learn English. If i moved to a new place i would learn their freekin language because I'm damn sure they wouldn't be accommodating to me and hiring translators or handing out free DVDs so i could learn their language now would they? |
