Mexico beat Italy and France both countries that were in the semifinals last world cup. Mexico also beat Argentina in 04. US lost to Ganda.So the US is out of the world cup. You should be rooting for Mexico since its the only North American country left in the world cup. You question just show how you only hate Mexicans for who they are.

I thank you for your hateful words and point out that we're already under siege due to the immigration debate - I doubt the outcome of this game will make much of a difference either way. Like they'll burn MORE cars, loot MORE businesses and assault MORE cops than they already are practically every week. Doubt it.

this isnt really an immigration question, but my husband (whos mexican) has already said he things Argentina will win the cup. I dont really care about soccer, but i know that Brazil won the last few times and im gonna go with them.

I am rooting for Argentina for many factors. First, I am mainly of Italian heritage and Argentina has this as well within the squad. Second, Argentina is the ONLY country within the Hispanic countries that views themselves as Europeans, not HISPANICS (bravo, bravo, bravo for not living like the dirty central america or mexico. Third, I am an American, TEXAN really, and am sick of tired of seeing my ancestors and the ancestors of other true Americans hard work for building this country go to ruins!!!

My question to you is why the FUDGE would you root for mexico in the first place???? Most people that say they are mexican in the U.S. are NOT even mexican, they are AMERICAN by birth and geneology. They root for a team that they also know NOTHING about. Ridiculous to say the least ... uneducated, ignorant, arrogant, no common sense of people ... leave our country. Argentina on the other hand, I applaud your artistic ways and culture as it is different from the rest of the Hispanic world ... keep living the European culture and you will continue to strive.
