Well the most recent winners were the Americans,so Americans.

For those who want to treat it as some "ancestral home" of Mexicans,because what is the American Southwest was once Mexico,they need to learn their History. At best,and I use that loosely,they could try to claim an equal right to it. Since what is Mexico was "stolen" by the Spanish,and what is America was "stolen" by other Europeans. Fact is that the inhabitants of all of the "Americas" owe the existence of their countries to "European Invaders",since Spain is in fact in,Anyone? Europe!!

Americans! We bought and paid for the land from Mexico, just like we purchased much of the US from Spain, France, and Alaska from Russia. Spain had claim to much of the US and Mexico before there were even Mexicans, let alone Americans or hispanic americans/european americans.... not counting the natives. Since hispanic are the decendents of Spain and Portugal, which are european countries, I find this Mexican/pro argument laughable.

Does it matter ? Current law is current law . You can't trapse into Mexico or any where else all whilly nilly unless you like jail of course.They would deport you from there too you know.

The Term "Indian Giver" actually came into existence when europeans promised & gave something to their people, but afterwards cheated them & took it back, & in history sometime it got reversed & now is used to give Native Indians a bad name, they are not the ones that give & take back, they have no concept of ownership, therefore they own nothing to give in order to take back..

i say anyone that's trying to make a claim of ownership of something so dumb as who has the rigth of what is dumb; The Europeans colonize the northeast part and the southwest partwas part of mexico but is not europeans or mexicans who this belongs to.

Neither, the aboriginal peoples had the land, and resources stolen from them and America has felt the shame of their collective ill treatment of these once proud peoples.
