I'm getting sick of hearing about this! In my opinion I agree that everyone needs to go through the proper procedures to become a us citizen but why haven't we stopped them its our faults to and i think we look like idiots now because we have allowed them to come here without a green card etc... so if we put a stop to this we need to figure from when the only thing that makes me extremely mad and i think is extremely disrespectful is when people cant SPEAK ENGLISH its very disrespectful to me and the us and i think its real sad that they have there children translate instead of taking the time to learn our language those people can just go back they wont be missed!!!!! There is so much crap going on with the war and this doesn't help right now with all of this going on! I'm not trying to hurt anyone feelings by what I said I do have respect for anyone who has the respect for me. I know that i could go on and on about this I have so many opinions about this but I will keep the rest to myself ......

I completely agree!!!! They said on the t.v that there are 11 million illegal immigrant's here now. I know that there are 11 million homeless men alone. That would love to have those jobs that they weaseled into! I think they should be felons, and if they are not a citizen, they should be sent home. Let's do a massive illegal sweep and round them all up!!!!

What needs to be done is seal the border. It's not that hard. Then work on getting everyone legalized, with background checks, and deport the felons, druggies, and MS-13 nutjobs back to their country of origin.

Then make English the official language, so we all at least have one thing in common. Every immigrant group supports such an initiative -except for some within the Hispanic community. There shouldn't be any special treatment.

Yeah I'm sick of it. Who in their right mind sneaks across our country border, and then thinks they should have full citizen rights just like the rest of us, that are here LEGALLY?!!

Yes, they have a right to be here if they have LEGAL citizenship. Otherwise, apply for legal citizenship, or go home. People don't have the right to just jump across the border and stay as the please. We can't do that as far as Canada and other countries, right? We have to apply for a Visa just like everyone else if we want to visit another country, something HAS GOT TO BE DONE.

There are 18 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. Deporting that many workers would make our economy fall apart. Hispanic workers are the backbone of our countries economy. I don't think that we should allow new illegal immigrants in, but the ones that are already here are well established here, it would be devastating not only to them but to us to kick them out. I don't know about the other states, but Hispanics in Minnesota are going on a 1 day strike on May 1st. I am a manager of a restaurant with Hispanic employees, and am in full support of this, even though it means tons of extra work for me.

i am so pissed at what is going on... if they wanted to be heard they should have become citizens in the 1st place. it pisses me off that they deface the very economy that is feeding their faces. If they really wanted to do something then they should have found the office to gain citizenship not the welfare office

Well said! What gets me is how their attitude is we owe them something and can't live without them. That border needs to be sealed! It is an injustice to the citizens and legal immigrants of this country.

It's a free country and anybody has the right to go anywhere. Most people from other countries that are here (not all) do the dirty work and its not fair but they should be able to go wherever they want. My parents are legal but still anyone who's against it is just a pain in the ... because if they were from another country and they wanted to go to america they wouldn't want a whole mess just to get to a country. What if you want to live somewhere else? Or just to visit? GOSH!

first of all if it was illegal than HOW are they all getting in? Obviously at one point someone said it was ok. I don't like how we are paying their taxes but for the most part, they are just doing jobs that we don't want to do, and in the process are getting their families by.

considering that we are all imigrants that originaly came from somewhere else, and are here now because one of our past anscestors wanted us to have a better life.
