That won't be enough though. You forgot about the anchor law. They pop the kids here and in 18 years they can become legal anyway. It's more than just one law that need to be fixed.
And not only employers are responsible but everybody around. Everybody is adjusting to them instead of them adjusting to us. They are not forced to speak english anymore because everywhere you go there is someone in the banks, doctor's office who speaks spanish. If the language won't be mandatory as well. And also no free health care. They pop the kids on government expenses and don't pay taxes. And some of the states they let them to get a driver's license too. SO as you see it's not just one law. It takes more than that :-)

Who is guilty The illegal alien illegally crossing the border or The US for not enforcing immigration laws.

Just because the law isn't strictly enforced doesn't mean you can break that law. It is against the law to speed, people do it all the time. Doesn't make it right just because they aren't caught.

The laws are there, Illegal aliens need to respect those laws. You can't just blame the US. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Oh Gee...!! This guy has finaly came up with the solution to the whole humongous problem with his brilliant idea....Of course those who hire illegal "immigrants" should be punished for their crime, and laws for that have been in existence for many years, but some illegals have such good fake i.d. cards that an employer can not know he is hiring illegal. Don`t you follow news on all those cases of companies employing illegals being busted by ICE?...its been going on for sometimes now, you sure you did not get "YOUR" idea from those news reports?

both are guilty, but you cant blame people who hire if they want to save money. I mean people who hire a guy to paint the house, help in a moving or to clean up dont want to pay a professional $$$, I dont want to spend a lot of money. If a hispanic guy is willing to do it for what I want to pay , I will pick him. I dont see any legal americans waiting to work in the streets. At least were I live I see black people in the street being loud and engaging in illegal activity, no whites and no asian at all willing to work, where are they? I am telling what I see.

Both are guilty! Employers know it's illegal to hire them according to the laws on the books already. And illegals know it's illegal for them to be hired.

Yes it's possible to have a law passed that anyone, in any fashion, responsible for hiring illegal be sentenced to a mandatory 5 years & 1 day and a $25,000 fine. But their lobbyists are the ones who convince and find a way to make sure the wording used in the law would be "Knowingly hires illegals." That way the businesses the lobbyists represent get off scott free

What our lawmakers fail to understand is that in order to prove that employers keep hiring illegals knowingly, is that the raids, and the illegals caught in those raids must go hand in hand to have a successful prosecution of every employer who hires illegals.

Lastly - The jobs aren't the only reason they're here.

Its there business to hire illegal, as outside USA people are crazy to enter in USA but people who motivating them by living in USA and showing them day dream, they are 80% guilty.

Law can be change,made any time if goverment wants to..I think even also immigration departments have to become more smarter and serious about it..
