anyways to answer ur question about who thinks they should be deported : well i would say than about a 15 percent of the voting population does , the rest are busy with their own lives and perhaps with some real drains to this country such as the wasteful war in Iraq .

First of all, how do you plan to arrest, hold, and deport 12 million men, women and children?

Then how will you replace them at work especially in the fields picking crops.

Then please note they do pay taxes. Property taxes, sales taxes, and many pay Social Security taxes and income taxes with fake SSNs they used to get their jobs, and they will never be able to collect those benefits.

We use illegal immigration as a subsidy for many of our businesses that don't want to pay higher wages and give health insurance.

The facts are that the national and state governments make a profit off of illegal immigration and then force the costs onto the counties and school districts where the emergency rooms provide services and the children are sent to be educated.

It seems to me that the least any employee is entitled to is some type of health care and education for their children. Those are the basic services all governments need to provide.

The immigration issue is much more complicated and nuanced then your simple question suggests.

Actually, many of them do pay taxes. And most of them are so scared of being caught that they never use public services of any description. My wife saw an illegal immigrant at her practice who had a treatable cancer that advanced so much that she was going to die within a few weeks. She never sought treatment while the cancer was still treatable out of fear of being caught.

There are millions of these people living in the USA. I have yet to hear a plan, including from your precious Mr. Romney, on how to deport such a massive population - about 3% of the total US population.

I really hope there is amnesty soon, I believe it will help out our economy to legalize some of these illegals. My husband is in the process of being legalized, he does not use any govt assistence. He pays taxes, works hard, has no convictions is a good father, husband and provider. I do not see what the big problem is having him in this country. I do not think its illegals causing the economy downfall but people like you who want to point the finger without really examaning the facts. illegals risk their lives to come to this country which we were lucky to be born in. I guess its okay for the millions of AMERICAN who do welfare fraud. Why because there from this country.

I understand that the US needs to defend its sovereignty and borders, but logically it would be impossible and too costly to try to implement a program that deports all illegal immigrants.

Plus, some of the stuff that you mentioned, like schools, hospitals, etc... most of the funding comes from local housing taxes, which illegal immigrants do pay. Everyone does. Many also pay taxes through their employers (who ignore the fact that they are illegal, but still do everything as usual, report taxes, etc... )

And like someone else said. Many illegal immigrants are too afraid to ask for medical services. Most of them only use them when they are dying, while most Americans have access to regular health checks. The fact that most don't like going to public hospitals doesn't mean that those services aren't available to them. A lot of Americans end up paying more because they chose not to use public services, but they are available to them.

Plus, if we are worried about costs... the war in Iraq is costing more money, more American lives, and more detriment to the economy than anything. It is ruining America's image abroad, and scaring off investors.

I don't , because the cost of groceries, food and clothing would rise up. Just leave them alone , the way they are. Who would pick up the food crops? and how about the warehouses that ship stuff to us, even the online retailers. Do you think they have americans working for meager wages. No way, it's better, if they can work at Mac Donalds, do u think all those people have documents. No way. Look at the food markets, the people working in the warehouse. Haha,

Now, that the wall is being built, on top of affecting the fauna, the people who used to come here to work seasonally and go back to Mexico once they got the money, are deciding to stay. And guess what , they are trying to bring their families over. So , yes build the wall, so more people decide to stay or marry a citizen , that will receive a good amount of money, then later on they can migrate their families. You know just like the chinese. they offer you a lot of money so that they can stay here, I cannot even count the times I've been offered easy money like that. But, since I don't think that's rite, and I 'd rather help my own ethnicity, I have turned down, not $1,000, but $ 40,000.00 Pretty dumb huh?

One of the reason that I love America so much is that it opens it's arms to anyone needing a home. I do think if someone is coming into this country they should go through the right channels. I'm with you though it is getting out of hand.

Americans themselves do the same problems you just mentioned. I think we should crack down on more coming in because we are a little crowded, but many illegals have been here for sooo long and/or have had children here. My baby;s grandmother is illegal but she has lived here for over 20 years and had 3 children here, and no she does not receive any benefits. Do you suggest deporting her??? If so then I think you are really ridiculous.
