well, the people who are trying to cross the desert are young and strong and desperate to make a better life for themselves; they don't think anything bad will ever happen to them, it's always the other guy.
so I blame the people in the US who employ illegal immigrants. they create the demand. I also blame the US govt because it has the means to reduce illegal immigration by punishing employers, and in some cases, by allowing more family members of citizens and permanent residents to immigrate legally and safely reunite their families. |
