Mexicans are not Spanish.
People from Spain are Spanish. |

It's called vacation...meaning they go back home afterwards, plus they add money to the mexican economy, unlike illegals that don't pay taxes. The spring breakers are legal...its called a passport, new law dictates that passports are required to travel to and from mexico and canada. The vacationers also go home after about a week, they don't stay and start having kids to be anchored in. |

Because don't go to mexico to take jobs away, we usually go to spend money. |

You are rather out of touch with reality. You have no idea at all of the problems caused by illegals, the billions of dollars taken from US taxpayers to deal with them, the crime, the theft of social sevices. You are living in some sort of La La Land with no understanding at all of the scope of the problem. |

Mexicans live in Mexico. Spanish people live in Spain. |

Umm you need a passport to enter?
So Can I go to Mexico and live for free. Since I don't have a good paying job?
Can I receive FREE MEDICAL SERVICES.
CAN I?
OK LETS ALL GET TOGETHER LIKE 12MILLION AND WALK OVER THE BOARDER AND SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
Oh by the way. Do you know what the Mexican government does on their boarders on the south. They shoot to kill all the Guatemalans that sneak over.. |

Yes.
Mexico does have a problem with all the illegal Americans.
Move all the mexicans to america and all the americans to mexico.
Which country would be better? |

they don't run the streets drunk? you definitely don't watch the news then, cause illegals are always on there committing some crime or multiple crimes. if they go to mexico illegal they are punished, learn some facts first!!! |

Not sure of where you have been, but in order to go to Mexico, where there are Mexicans, not Spanish people. Spanish people live in Spain. Spanish speaking people are as varied as the various number of "christian" beliefs, everything from Methodist to Catholic, to Protestants, to Latter day Saints. Anyway, a law was recently passed, and in order to go to Mexico, or for that matter, Canada, or for that matter, any country, you will need a passport. |

I agree with most of the people that have already answered. Americans go and spend money in Mexico, which is good for the economy. Then the Mexicans turn around and leach off the Americans, and kill our economy.
And by the way, learn to spell before you ask questions. It just makes you look silly. |

We DO have to go legally.
If our college students do wrong, by all means arrest them. |

I was in Mexico this past Friday, I showed two forms of ID, went thru customs and everything, but you know the difference is I came back home, I didn't try to break their laws and stay uninvited. I didn't try to get on welfare or have Mexico pay for me to have a free ride |

I agree with you about American kids on Spring
break but because they spend a lot of money it is overlooked.
When you say Spanish people. I do not believe it is that difficult for a Spaniard to get a visa to the USA. Latin American is much more difficult because of the low paying jobs in Latin America |

Americans usually just go to Mexico for holiday.. and to party.. and i dont think they go to commit crimes.. They DO go thru Immigration on the borders or in airports before they leave the states. so thats a total different thing if going thru Immigration than sneaking into the country.. illegals sneak at night or day thru areas they think arent secure.. some come over with a day pass and never go back..and when they do get here illegally, they feel they have rights to kill others, and do lots crime.. write on building and so forth.... So THINK ABOUT THAT... |

Spring Breakers are here in Baja and still have their clothes on. Cold and rainy. Lots more police on the streets this year but crowds are smaller. If they don't stay any longer than 72 hours, and don't go any farther than Maneadero south no permit is required. Semana Santa is big holiday vacation time for Mexicans too, lots of drinking and bbqs on the beach. Not too many crimes reported yet just a lot of litter. |

First of all, when Americans go to Mexico they ARE legal. They enter the country on a tourist card. Second of all, unless you´re talking about people from Spain, Mexicans are not "Spanish people". Lastly, you need to stop making judgments based on what you see on tv. Reporters only cover the most outrageous people who go on Spring Break in Mexico, and they don´t represent the majority. The people who just go to relax and don´t cause trouble won´t be the ones you see on camera. |

Because your country (Mexico) doesnt have the same laws we do in the US. Your country has an open border policy while the US does not. If you think it unfair, then you should lobby with your polotitians, again this is a Mexican Government policy not a US. |

Totally agree. Think of all the old coots that retire down there because it is cheap to live there. The don't try to help the people or the land. The just exploit the underprivledged by hiring them at dirt poor wages to be their servants. |
