You know there are many view points in this subject and no easy solution. I agree with you but I've grown up in border towns and there is also a lot of crime that come over with a lot of people and that is the issue. how is it racist that I don't want to have to pay taxes that fund programs such as welfare for people who come into this country illegally and get free medical services that I have to pay for. If that is not a crock I don't know what is. First off, if Mexicans would come in legally, there would be nobody against them. It is the ones that break our laws to get here that people want to send back. Would your country welcome those from up here if they broke your laws to get there and then even after they got there? If you are the least bit honest you know they would throw anyone in jail that tried to get into your country illegally. So why should it be any different here? If you are going to come here, do it the legal way. If you want to come and break our laws from the start, stay home and break your own laws. The vast majority of people in the US want secure borders. We do not want people walking into our country without approval of the Federal Government. We have laws that should be upheld by the government and obeyed by foreigners.
I do not see any racism against Mexicans. The have been coming to the US, illegally from the time Texas became a US Territory. Legal Mexicans have become a part of our society.
Most Americans want illegals - law breakers - to leave because they do not belong here. They broke our laws and should be punished for it.
