ARE YOU SAYING THAT THEY CAN'T BE THE VICTIMS OF RACISM. EVERY RACE HAS IT'S RACIST AND WHITE PEOPLE LIKE BLACK MAY BE THE VICTIMS OF RACIST. |

who are you to say they are not victims of racism. That is a very racist remark in and of itself. I fell victimized. I think I will report your question. |

I don't even get where you're coming from...
Do you think that white people can't be racially discriminated against? Do you think that there are not derogatory names used against white people? |

I think at times they actually are victims of racism, as are blacks, Asians, Hispanics etc...everyone is hated by some ignorant SOB |

Thst doesn't even make sense. It's the double standard. Blacks can complain and we can't. I was told by the Air Force once that my roommate wanted to move because I was white, which was okay....but imagine the madness if I had said I wanted a new roommate because he was black. Isn't it all the same? |

Anyone who has ever lost a position in a job due to afirmitive action is a victim of racism.
Everyone is subject to racism. You need to realise that there are stupid bigoted people of all races. |

Dont get it twisted it STILL goes on, but theres people that use it as a crutch which waters down the real incidents |

Because there are so many people other than white who are even more racist then the KKK. |

There is a distinction between systemic or institutional racism and people with racist values. Systemic racism is when racism is legalized such as the old "Jim Crow" laws that made black people sit in the back of the bus.
What I think you might be referring to is what is currently known as 'reverse discrimination'. This is what things like affirmative action cause. It means laws intended to correct past racism are actually punishing the wrong people. For instance, if a black student has poorer grades than a white student but is permitted to attend a university anyway, the white student is being damaged. Most white people have no problem with laws that insure that the best scoring students should be admitted regardless of race but have a real problem when poorer scoring students are admitted because of race. You cannot provide an unfair advantage to one student without harming another.
Instead of correcting any past misbehavior by the government or institution this practice punishes young white students who never did anything to anyone. In this regard these young white students are actual victims of racism. The remedy should be colorblindness not color preference.

You seem racist against white Americans. If you treat them this way on line how do you treat them in person? Then you have the nerve to say they can't be victims of racism. Or are we the only ones with no right to complain if we are victims? That is racism, believe it or not. Unfortunately a good many white people have bought into these attitudes too, that they owe a debt to all non whites and should wake up each morning and apologize for being white. I will not be joining them, and if that makes me racist to some people well so be it. |

because every thing we do in the eyes of minority's is races black people have the united ***** collage fund, can you imagine if you had the united white collage fund holly crap that's racist or miss black America instead lets have miss white America holly crap that's racist to, we cant win and are are irritated because it doesn't mater what we do or say we are in a way discriminated against for being white. here lets change that sentence around, we cant win and are discriminated against because we are black, Asian, Mexican OK that's alright to say. guess what you don't have to be white to be racist we don t have a patten on it some of the most racist people are minority's my sister in law is Mexican guess what she hates black people but she doesn't see it wrong because she is Mexican. i work with a guy who is African American he doesn't like white people but we could care less he is black. no one this day and age was a slave i have never owned a slave my family has never owned a slave let it go and by my count minority's have allot more out lets in life to improve there life's like the NAACP, united ***** collage fund preference for military contracts if business owned buy a minority. if racism is some one being discriminated against because of the color of there skin on unfounded predetermaned beliefs than why do i have to be a rasict because im white isnt that discrimination against me.
or if i get into an argument with a black person im racist or could it be the other person is just an AHole and has nothing to do with color. in this day and age if the race card is played all the time i only see it as someone that cant take responsibility for their own lifes and has to blame someone else to make themselves feel beter. |

Well, basically it is because they are.
In case you haven't noticed white people, especially white men, are the only ethnic group against which not only is racism generally tolerated, it is often actively encouraged. |

I can tell you directly that whites are sick of being accused of racism. We are the only race not allowed to actually speak our minds. We made this country what it is and then have to listen to fools who think we should be ashamed for our abilities. No sale! I'm not fooling anyone and you certainly aren't either. For God's sake grow up and get over yourself! |

Ever worked at a place where it took a degree and a couple years of experience to get in a entry level job, say some sort of government or civil service job? Now imagine the department head of that place of work requires even more experience and education to even qualify and have some sort of competency to perform the basic tasks of that high level position? Now imagine a mayor getting elected with his main platform is affirmative action. Now he is elected and now hires a person who officially receives the position of being department head of where you work based on affirmative action and his race (when really unofficially he happens to go to the same church as the mayor and is his friend.) who obviously does not qualify and has not even acquired a GED yet. Now since the person who is the main cheese (not because of merit but because he is not white and politically connected) screw-ups happen left and right due this person making bad decisions and then blames it on the workers below him (who happen to be very qualified for their job.) for his screw ups. Now imagine this patern repeating it self not once, but frequently? How would that make you feel?? |

The term "racism" is bandied about so freely these days it has lost its meaning. If a white guy disagrees with a black guy, he's judged a racist.
Frankly, it doesn't bother me, I just consider the source. If he plays the race card, as far as I'm concerned, he's lost the arguement. Put it back in your wallet and try someone else. |

Because the white supremacist groups have succeded to poison the talk on various issues, and have succeded to put their leaders in congress (tom tancredo is a good example of a congressman even funded by White supremacist OKA KKK).
I have seen a picture of Hitler with the slogan "marketing works"
So there is your answer. |

Seems like you're saying whites are never treated in a racist manner and that's quite incorrect. I don't call myself a victim but I get a dose of racism quite often where I live. There are a good deal of mexican supremacists here in Az.
You are a great example of a racist on this forum, you target whites constantly so the real question is who do YOU think you're trying to fool? |

They really do not know what discrimination is, Asked Emmit Till the 14 year old that was dragged out of his relatives home and lynched because he whistled at a white woman, where you were not allowed service in white businesses, where you could not get a job because of the color of your skin, Where you were not allowed to attend "White only" schools and Universities. Until the 1964 The Equal Rights Amendment , The Civil Rights Act, The Voting Rights Act, Equal Access to Public Accommodations etc The laws that ruled this land for 190 years by your fore fathers. You do not know what discrimination is !!
Jc n
The United ***** College Fund was implemented in the days of segregated school that raised money for deserving black students to go to black schools, I know I am going to get flack from the black community for my statement ,segregated from White only universities ( was good in a way because) It forced them to create their our universities for blacks, I wish that Mexican Americans could have done the same. The NAACP was created to force change in the Jim Crow racists laws that governed American since its birth. I think you should learn an understanding about your country's history before you attempt to answer a question , you know nothing about. |

To start with, let me answer the "fool" who asked for numbers...there are no numbers "fool" but the perception is alive and well among most of us..a "perception" is worth a lot more than numbers....,would you like a CNN poll?...anyway, they are victims of racism ands more than any group they should recognize "racism" because they have been perpetrating the act since the first Brit landed and they had good teachers...Racism was a part of the American breeding stock and to erase the guilt they bent so far over backwards to be seen as a fair and equal nation that when they awakened from their "do gooder" stooper, they realized they had sent the "white" Americans to the bottom of the pecking order...now, the course to correct this is an insurmountable one that just may never be won...why is it that there has to be any racism..so many countries have gotten past this, of course there are examples in every country but as a whole we are generally seeing all as equal..that is outside of the US...I live in Canada, and of course I could not defend my glass house from all the stones, but we are making a good effort and not talking about it every day..we are close to being perfect but do have a ways to go...just try something one day, when sitting on the bus, have a look at the person next to you and try and see them as another human and not his color, his clothing, his eyes...just try and look at the human...when you can, then and only then will America be free of all racism....shall I hold my breath?...one other aspect of American racism is not the person, it is the other being is getting more than me...no matter what the person is, it is the "he's getting more than me" attitude than anything else..greed my friend, not racism....absolute GREED; and, the reason whites feel a loss is because they are now being forced to share...no longer can they devour the whole pie. |
