I want proof that 98% of the questions on this topic are racist...
On top of that, I would like a copy of your analysis for such a conclusion. I'd like to see each question you researched, and what "best answer" came out of it.
I'd also like to know which side you're on. If you are pro-illegal, or anti-illegal.. or on the fence.
I'd have to disagree with you. Many questions are rounded off around racism, however, there are some pretty good questions-- And many of which bring up ideas or theories concerning a solution for the debate.
If you are considering those as being, "racist," than that would definately decrease that percentage quote of yours'.
And speaking of the hatred. Perhaps if those "illegals" were not "freeloading"...
yes.. that's what it is.. "freeloading," than no one would be hating on anyone because it wouldn't be an issue.
Now, analyze that and tell me if this comment is racist....

There is enough hate in the world, and it comes from both sides of this illegal immigration issue! Lets work together to find positive solutions! |

they use illegal immigration as an excuse to really express what they feel of other ppl and their cultures.... |

They are not. Illegals purposely try to twist the issue into racism because they know they are criminals and don't like being told so. What they are doing is wrong and they try to divert attention away from their wrongdoing by calling us, the taxpayers, the American citizens who want our laws enforced, racists. It's a word they overuse and it's lost it's meaning when it comes to them. |

Try 99% then. It's an excuse to hate and show their true colors.
Dar, do you think the fake Kubrikian is funny? That is 100% racism. Please don't disappoint me, you are the only true human from the anti camp. |

Because people with racist leanings see a legitimate problem as a pretext to break out the white sheets. It makes it harder for people who have genuine concerns to be taken seriously. |

Because we live in a world of intolerant racists. And because 98% of the population of this planet refuses to use their brain. |

Because people are afraid that someone will get more then their share, but what they don't realize is that there is enough for us all. Then you have some people who are just full of ignorance and refuse to change. But if we keep asking questions that make people think maybe we can knock that 98% down some. |

Because 98% of the immigration issue is about race. |

If you're talking about the 98% that are about illegal aliens, they're not racist, they're about the law. |

Because most of the immigrants (and an even higher percent of the problems associated with ILLEGAL immigration) occur with Mexican and Central American immigrants.
This is not hatred. American businesses are taking advantage of these immigrants every day, and the social problems associated with illegal immigration are killing our hospitals and schools, which hurt the American poor.
Immigrants are dying in the desert because of the willingness of corporations to break the law and hire illegal immigrants. We need to close the border and put up a wall to stop this human rights nightmare. |

I agree. Some people seem to think that they are better than everyone else. I also have to say that every country has their own immigration laws and people should abide by them no matter where they the want to move to or visit. |

It's because people blame immigrants for their unemployment, poverty, high taxes, an whatever else they complain about. People are willing to blame immigrants for all of their problems but not the rest of society of themselves. |

Because people fear things that aren't like what they're used to and the prospect of living next to a Mexican or a Black person instead of a White person makes them sick... and because people seem to lose sight of the fact that America is a country FULL of immigrants and if anyone's going to be mad about immigration it should probably be the Natives. :-) |

Great point you are making with your question. It is so true. You can just feel it.
America seems to be the land of hate, always targeting some group of people without much power.
People need to realize that they need to stop participating in this. They feel safe hitting on someone else all the while thinking that their group is immune to attack.
I remember when Dan Quayle, the "potatoe" man, landed into single parents. Being a single parent, I was scared that society would follow in his footsteps. Fortunately for me, America chose to go after Dan Quayle and turn him into a joke.
My answer to your question is that there are a lot of people that do not feel very worthwhile. They make these futile attempts to bolster their self-esteem by attacking others. Unfortunately, they don't realize that it is difficult to feel good about oneself when one is attacking others. |
